Someone said earlier they thought maybe the girlfriend was out, leaving the children alone. I think that poster hit it on the head. Any of those sex offenders could have seen that 17 yr old at a bar, knew she stayed with those kids while the bf worked late nite. If thats the case, they could have bought her a drink, talked her up, she is young, found out those kids were home alone & snatched her. I so hope they find this child. As far as sex offenders, keep those 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬&s locked up FOREVER.

Ok, but how is a 17 yr old going to get into a bar? Unless she has a fake id, or the bars in that area are letting minors drink.

The locals and family members don't have to wait to search. There would be no reason to wait if you are already there. Not everyone can buy a same day/next day airline ticket. It takes some time to mobilize the troops.

Yes, that's true ... for sure if it were my daughter or granddaughter, I'd be out there combing the area .... nonstop.

I have VERY little patience when it comes to things like this. :run:

I just asked the Lord to watch over Haleigh if she's still alive, and the whole family. :praying:

You could very well be right. If she staged it and the father wasn't aware of the cinder block being near the house...then is it logical she would know where to find one in the heat of the moment if she had done something?

If she was out of the house and doesn't know when in that 5 hours the girl dissappeared she should fess up ASAP. She should be the source of that information, not whomever she was with during that time. Not to mention giving the LE real facts to work with.

I would too, and although I think that LE does asks the parents not to set out on foot to search themselves, they would have to lock me up before I could just sit around and wait for news. I would have to be out banging down doors..

Oh I KNOW .... I totally agree! I could NOT sit still and WAIT. No Way!!

And yup, they'd have to lock me up or drug me silly ... to keep me from searching.

I'm just hoping this case turns out like Cole Puffinburger's...and I wake up in the middle of the night after hearing a distant news report that she is found alive and well:(

This case is so much like the Lunsford case. I can imagine it is bringing up horrors for M. Lunsford. :( M. Lunsford and Mark K would be the two I wish would be there for the father (providing he is cooperating and telling the truth). They can offer him sage advice on everything.

If they hadn't lived in that home very long I would be looking at former renters.
My DH and I moved into a new apartment when my son was 2 weeks old. DH worked swing shift and was at work that week from 11PM-7AM. I had just gotten done with the 2:00AM feeding and heard the door open at the bottom of the stairs. Each place had its own entry and we lived on the 2nd floor. I knew it wasn’t DH, he would have called me if he was coming home early for some reason. Met the guy at the top of the staircase with my trusty double barrel shotgun. The guy had had a little too much to drink and forgot he had moved. Still had the key and it worked. Boy did he sober up fast.
The owners of the apartment complex never bothered to change the locks on the unit or collected the old keys.
How many times did people move in and out that place and the locks are still the same

If you can be talked out of searching they will attempt to do so. Finding your own child's body would be a nightmare, not to mention the potential for the family member to run into the crime scene and disturb evidence. If they can't talk you out of it, they can't stop you. Families join the searches all the time, and unfortunately have been the searcher to find the body.

I wonder if there is a drug issue in this town? Oxycontin? Meth? etc...

A lot of bars let in underage kids now. They put wristbands on them- one color if you can drink, another color if you are underage.

Fusion promoted it this way-- 17 to come---21 to swallow. :silenced:

In fact, there were some family members who were asked today not to search.

I don't think there is a small town in America that is not affected by drugs, imo.

I am leaning towards the hinky meter being set of by the GF because she is lying, but I am not sure she is lying about the disappearance itself. More likely that she wasn't there and she has no clue when she dissappeared.

Ditto.

Wow, that is scary.

Well, not sure what to think of this case. Something smells for raw fish. We are not hearing everything, imo. I hope the little angel is found soon.

I am very relieved that the Dad has passed a polygraph. I really do not like how the girlfriend had such conflicting stories. If the Dad left for work in order to be there by 7 PM, then I do not automatically believe the girlfriend's story about putting Haleigh to bed at 8:00 PM. I find her story hard to believe.

Whatever happened, there is still a little 5 yr. old little girl out there somewhere. I want so badly for her to be found still alive. Hopefully someone will come forward with information for the reward.

I heard something mentioned about a blanket and a sheet found near the deck. I know how rumors like to fly when it comes to these cases so what i am asking has anyone else heard anything about this?

(note...nurse is NOT a conspiracy theorist LOL)

Does anyone remember the SO in the news in the past year or so that was interviewed by msm and he admitted how he drove to concerts and any places little girls were there to be "near them"..

I am taking this one step further... Sicko pervs like that live their fantasies every day and some of them act. Monsters like the one I mentioned above can go on the internet and fixate on crimes... I bet some even read true crime sites to play out things in their minds.

And just one tiny step further... (which...okay....I am completely admitting could border on the conspiracy theory side)... what if such a sick perv could have been infatuated with the caylee anthony case?

The timing of the alleged abduction is strange... on the early morning of Caylee's memorial.

The only reason this even crosses my mind is what I recall Nancy Grace saying on one of her shows leading up to the memorial.... she asked if such a large venue was such a great idea due to all kinds of sickos that could try to get in and do somthing stupid. In a stream of consciousness way I just kind of connected two faint dots that might not even be there...

However, I just had to get it off of my chest and thanks for entertaining my thoughts.

During the caylee case we have learned on tv and the web how to make and buy chloroform, etc etc etc..

I know...it seems crazy but we only have to look to Jet Duncan and the Kevin Underwoods of the world to know how much this could be true.

Has LE come out to say that he passed with flying colors...or is this taking his word for it?

Does anyone know if the 2 SO's in the immediate area of the Cumming's home have been questioned or their property searched?
How soon after Haleigh was reported missing would LE have done this?
Surly the have questioned them but why hasn't that been reported?

I would think that with 2 SO's within 1 mile, one being 500 feet from the Cumming's home, that would be the first place to search for Haleigh.
