I am curious about that as well. Sheets that four people have slept in doesn't seem to be the go to item to give the bloodhounds a scent. Isn't that usually a recently worn item of clothing?

The hypothetical timline I did above is taken from the LE presser they did today. They said the blankets were taken outside of the trailer for the dogs to mark for a search. I think it was just misreported in that link as LE said how they got there.

The sheets will make me crazy before this is over. The idea that sheets that may contain forensic evidence of whomever leaned over the bed and took Haleigh were drug around by the dogs, taken outside, and left laying on the ramp. The same ramp they should be checking for footprints if this was the entrance and exit point.

I will remain blissfully convinced that this did not happen. Could not happen. No no no no no no.

I am going to Tenn in a week . I will printed the poster from national Childern site. I did that with Trenton Duckett you just never know. I just leave at tables in the resturants or where ever we stop like rest area and gas station.
It sound like your case has been cold to long. It might be good idea to email nancy grace show to. My pray are with you and your family.

In the press conference LE said something about the blankets being outside to isolate the scent instead of mixing it with other scents for the dogs. Wondering if it was maybe Haleigh had a special blanket and that is what they took outside for the dogs to just get her scent instead of the scent of the bed?

Did anyone watch NG ...I had never heard that the cops were in john coey's if thats how u spell it but i had no idea the police were in his trailor while she was still alive and in the closet and then to know what he did to jessica after when i heard her say that i allmost got sick to my stomach that sick could u imagine how those cops felt after realizing she was right there in there grasp alive..Im still in shock from that i had never heard that and i even watch the trial..

Thank you, that is very kind of you to print their flyer to take with you . There is a thread on this same forum just a few threads down. Your right, the case has been cold way too long. NG has never done a full story on her show but she has shown Adrianna's picture.

-grid search: they may be doing one.. they are widening the search... bringing volunteer groups in tomorrow or friday
-media asks about homes searched and sos in the area.... le says they have searched and will research again and again and again... a few homes that are not lived in and they are working on getting into those homes with landowners

Obviously the perp knew the fathers schedule. Definitely this guy goes after little girls because the 17 was right there and available if he was interested in rape. Something must have woke the GF up like the backdoor closing or a car starting up.
I am really moving into the area of someone out of the area who had knowledge of this families movements. Maybe a visitor to someone in the neighborhood or a creep that comes in by boat and plays eye spy games. This trailer was being watched by the perp for an opportunity. imo

Is it just me or does it read like the blankets were scattered at 3am, possibly by the perp?

Everywhere I have read states the blankets were brought out to help the dogs.
