There are distance laws. I think it's 1000 feet from a school or playground. I'm very passionate about this SO stuff. You see, it doesn't even matter if they get castrated...they still have fingers, toes, tongues...sorry to be so graphic...but it's all in their heads. They have a sickness that worse than polio, imo, and they should all be shot or put out of their misery. Unfortunately, it's against the law. We need a complete overhaul, if you ask me. A RSO can rape & sodomize a kid that less than 10 y/o and get a few years in jail, some even walk away with time served...but hold up a store without shooting somebody and you could get MANY years...impersonating a cop gets you more years than a first time sex offense! We're on the right track, I think, but obviously it's gonna take a bit more time.

I was over at the SO website to see what was happening around me. I noticed at least 15 or more per each zip code and the sentences were appalling. Most involved children and they did 60 days in County jail and 5 yrs. probation. You can't go more than 1,000 ft. from your own home without running nto a SO. This sooooneeds to change.

You know, I left on page 9, I come back on page 20 and I still can't get the words "The unique club is here to help you" out of my head. It's night slike this I wish I drank.

Someone said that on Geraldo the bio mom and her mother were on and one of them said "RJ knows what happened". When was this show ? I must have missed it.

When I saw her say that I took it to mean that he was told Haleigh was missing and what was going on. they were talking about how Jr. was doing, especially since today was his birthday and he was missing his sister. he would have to know what is going on if the police questioned him.

..you may already have your answer, but i remember reading it on 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬:

quote : He says, "I know somebody took my little girl...some sorry piece of trash that will be wasted when its all over." This is baffling to me. Haleigh was once found floating in a nearby waterway and nearly drowned. "

That's not hard. Dad comes home from work at 3:30 AM. Dad and gf stay up, eat, drink, party - pass out around 7 - just in time for Haleigh to be getting up and ready for school. Neither wants to be bothered - so they just tell her she's staying home today.

Just questioning and theorizing here but if the caretakers are working until 3:00-3:30 am and winding down until 7:00am then going to bed and getting some sleep for 6- 8 hours even at 5 hours that leaves the the 3 now 4 year old Ronald Jr up in the house alone essentially and if Haleigh doesn't go to school then she is the caretaker for Jr. until Girlfriend and Dad wake up until noon or later. Yes, I bet Jr. is a wealth of information.

The family tree got so convoluted that I finally had to take out pen and paper and chart it all to make sense of it. When I was done, the "tree" had about three branches total.

Sorry this is OT but your post made me think of this:

You might be a redneck if....you go to your family reunion looking for a date.

Do you know if she was there the whole time or was she late or picked up early? Thank you

I've asked and will post when I get an answer!

While thinking about them, let's also remember to pray for their community. I know that if this happened in my town, everyone would be affected. We small-towners have a sense of "family" and this has got to be hard on the whole town.

You might be a redneck if your family tree is just the trunk...that one applies to my family, so I am allowed to use it.

Please humor me for a brief moment.

Let's say that this story about one of Misty's cousins from Tennessee is true.

We know that Misty has ties to Tennessee from earlier research that was done (and I am so sorry, I do not have the links to that information). Just because her last name is Croslin, does not mean that this cousin's last name is also Croslin.

(On a side note--when I was much, much younger, I had many cousins who I only saw once every few years. Even to this day, I could not tell you what their last names are/were. I guess maybe this is why I can almost understand how Misty--who is somewhat "low-voltage"--might just assume that this cousin shares her last name.)

What are some of the other last names associated with the Croslin family who might be from Tennessee? We can cross-reference some of those names to the sex offender database and maybe tie some things together that way.

I am not so sure that I believe this story, but as sleuths, we really should check it out to see if there just might be any credibility to her story.

I think that the Padgett family is likely related to either Ron or Crystal's side of the family--at least from what the earlier posted article intimated. It stated that the Padgett couple was wanting to go to Florida to help find their "niece." I seriously doubt that any of Misty's Tennessee relatives would be wanting to, first, go all the way to Florida for a child they do not even know, and second, would be referring to this child as their "niece."

---------------------------------------------------------
In most states, a child has to have a children's advocate and be there with LE. I don't know about Florida. Maybe the parent has to be there also.
If the 4 yr old was asleep, then doubtful he would know. But he would know how things are in the family: arguments, how they are disciplined,
does sister Haleigh wet the bed, what bed does he usually sleep in, who was there before he went to bed. What did he watch on tv before he went to sleep?

Hopefully it's an advocate--vs a parent when they may be a suspect. JMO

The big thing that could put him under threat of arrest if the child misses anymore school most likely involves the mysterious Child Protaective Services dealings with the family and household.

Normally if the child missed alot of school, it would not immediately trigger an arrest. Unless it was already part of the terns that CPS has laid out to avoid action.

Good point ff :) Dad does not want to bring CPS around, nor more "documentation" which could cost him custody. JMO

will do, kimster. thanks for the reminder. using your experience with small town, do you think that is why we don't see neighbors and others from the town giving interviews, etc?

One of Misty's brothers lists his hometown as Nashville TN, Misty and her family are from Michigan. But for some reason this brother claims Nashville as his hometown. Might be a place to start. It's on his myspace.

For the most part, I can see our town wanting to focus on finding the missing child first. But, there are a couple of people I think would LOVE to be in front of a mic! LOL! I doubt the media would want THEM however!

Most of our townspeople like to keep to themselves, which is why they choose to live in a small community.

BTW, we have ZERO SOs listed here. But, we only list the predatory SOs in our state's database for internet exposure.

I noticed tonight on GR - watching rerun now - that bandage is gone.

I finally saw a clip with the bandaid today and he looks like he got a haircut from when I saw him on that first day. Maybe the shears nicked him on the back of his neck.
