FL-AMBER ALERT Haleigh Cummings 5 yrs. old - Putnam County #5

Somebody knew this home. Knew the location, layout, entrances--and knew the child was inside and possibly alone (sorry, I can't quite accept child snatched silently from beside both gf and brother, but neither does that mean gf directly harmed Haleigh). Perhaps someone right there in the mobile home community or within walking distance. Am thinking of a possible set-up in which for eg gf is known to occasionally (or regularly) leave, perhaps even for just brief periods, to hang out w nearby friends, family or neighbors... and thru friends, neighbors or somewhere she's gone, word gets around and it becomes known to predator that while gf is at that location (wherever she went) and accounted for, that her bf is at work and his young girl there at the mobilehome alone--and unprotected. I agree w poster who said it may have been gf who propped open back door herself, and think she may have done so in order to exit and re-enter as quietly as possible so as to not chance disturbing sleeping children. A SO could have studied this pattern themself, or anyone who lived, hung out, or visited anybody living, between Haleigh's and SOs could've unwittingly learned and/or divulged this.

I'd like to also just point out that while there was indeed an instance where dad or bio mom failed to keep Haleigh safe--which is scary--it is nevertheless in this instance the *GF* in whose care Haleigh was last and known to be with, so naturally under far greater suspicion and w good reason IMO.

Let's say someone did know the layout of the home...then it makes me wonder if they could have also been a SO/pedophile. want to check out the person who lived in my home before me to find out if they were a SO/pedophile... I wonder if that is something a realtor would have to divulge. We are buying a new home (new construction) and the realtor said by regulations/law she had to gave me a link to look up SO in the area. I already know them all because I work at a school and look them up on a very regular basis.

I hear you Cajun! We had a sleepless daughter the other night as we reviewed with her and my son, they're 12 & 10 - about the pedophiles listed in our area. We unfortunately have to teach them to be vigilant when they're out of our eyesight.

It's heartbreaking to destroy my children's innocence this way. However on the flip side, we're from Canada now residing in Texas and I am so very thankful for the ability to look up and see the registered sex offenders in my zip code area and beyond. Canada still does not have that capability.

I'd rather know than wonder.

And I can't wait for the day for the Supreme court to overturn their decision and decide to place these guys on deathrow irregardless of whether they have murdered the child or left them alive!:furious:

Okay, I am not a fan of KFN by no means, but since the authorities have said they feel this is an abduction, then the flyers are a good thing.
Honestly, just for one day, if 5000 flyers can be given to this community to help find this girl, I am appreciative of it.
Let them go further into debt, whatever, just give this family flyers of this little girl.
Local LE can ask these people to leave..Why haven't they done it yet? I feel that if they are giving the family flyers to hand out, and the community, then they just may be welcomed to stay as long as they are doing something productive. I don't think that anyone will be donating to them at all..hopefully not anyways! Hopefully LE will discourage donating to them..
