I honestly am leaning towards this case not having to do with the parents or the GF. Not that we shouldn't keep an eye on that, but I'd continue to think about an outsider. I'm sure LE is looking at where the cinder block came from? Very interesting that Dad said he never noticed one there before.

I noticed the family's dimeanor change after GA and KFN showed up. Nice. Did you see George angrily saying that everyone needs to stop scrutinizing the family? He needs to go home.

I would think when there is a child missing EVERYONE should be a suspect until proven otherwise...for it to be any other way would be negligent on Law Enforcement's part. George should know better...but then again...

ITA. If my child were missing and I weren't scrutinized and questioned to the nth degree, I would certainly doubt LE's abilities.

The reporter on the live feed just stated that both parents have prior records for drugs, but she emphasized that the charges against Ronald were dropped or dismissed by the court. Crystal has had drug charges and a misdemeanor record, in addition to filing a false report of car damage.

There's been an ongoing custody dispute since 2005. I found the court documents last night in Putnum county and find it interesting that the court gave primary custody to Ronald, with visitation to Crystal, with the stipulation that visitation is at the father's discretion in regards to the children's safety. There's also a stipulation that Crystal cannot take the children out of Florida.

It's very unusual to give sole custody to one parent instead of shared custody. There more here than we know.

If they do not find this little girl after a year.. then they should watch to see whether or not Crystal moves. I could see that she might be jealous that some 17 year old was playing mommy to her babies. Then stage a kidnapping and leave the child with someone out of state she trusted (a relative) then after a time move away.. to be with her kid. No one the wiser.

How many moms in this situation.. would risk cutting all ties to family, friends to be with there kiddo in another state?

SuziQ, what does that mean? is GA telling them how to act or say? GA should be ashamed of himself, he just wants to be in the spotlight, i think he really needs help..

who cares what the bloggers or the chat room is saying... so far these are the sources of ALL THE RUMORS.

I think we should stay focused on saving pictures from MS, gathering a list of who is who, and saving quotes from news articles.

I did a lot of background search last night on the individuals in this case, and have a pretty good list of who's who and their relationships. The maternal grandmother, Marie Griffis, is actually Nancy Marie Griffis and she was married to Johnny Marcus Sheffield - Crystal's father. Her present husband is Bruce A. Griffis.

I wondered that also...but she was too much at ease in her interview with the fact she was there for me to lean on that theory at this point. Still keeping my eye on it, though!

It would make more sense. Unfortunately, there seem to be very few facts that we can rely on and stories change...
