If they do not find this little girl after a year.. then they should watch to see whether or not Crystal moves. I could see that she might be jealous that some 17 year old was playing mommy to her babies. Then stage a kidnapping and leave the child with someone out of state she trusted (a relative) then after a time move away.. to be with her kid. No one the wiser.

How many moms in this situation.. would risk cutting all ties to family, friends to be with there kiddo in another state?

I could see this as a possibility except for the fact that according to her myspace page Haleigh is not her priority.

The newscasters said that biomom accussed biodad of abuse and domestic violence.

I did a lot of background search last night on the individuals in this case, and have a pretty good list of who's who and their relationships. The maternal grandmother, Marie Griffis, is actually Nancy Marie Griffis and she was married to Johnny Marcus Sheffield - Crystal's father. Her present husband is Bruce A. Griffis.

I noticed an early interview with the bio-mom that she appeared to have an engagement ring on, do we know if she is married/engaged and if so is he there?

SuziQ, what does that mean? is GA telling them how to act or say? GA should be ashamed of himself, he just wants to be in the spotlight, i think he really needs help..

All I know is the family and him walked out with an attitude and GA told the media that "Everyone needs to stop scrutinizing the family". He was very angry. Whether GA meant to or not, he's done nothing right for his own missing kid case.

I think the earlier in the case that we can have seperate threads based up on

They called quickly if she truly was taken just shortly before dad got home. The whole moving target of who slept where and how she discovered she was missing just doesn't sit right with me. I still think Misty was out of the house and came back just before dad got home. If that is true there is a 5 hour window she could have disappeared during.

I also think it is possible that Haleigh woke up, found herself alone and went out to look for someone. Afraid of the dark or not, scared kids are not always predictable. If that did happen that puts a young girl outside defenseless among 44 sex offenders, one only 500 feet away. Could have been opportunistic rather than calculated. Just thinking outloud. I am not buying that she was plucked out of the bed where Misty was sleeping, not with the ever evolving version of who, what and where.
