BONITA SPRINGS -
Human remains were found in Bonita Springs, according to officials with the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives remained on scene through the night Wednesday at a wooded area off Old 41 near the county line.

Lee County deputies say they got a call just before 5 p.m. that human remains had been found.

Tim Twilley, 46, of Bonita Springs was identified through dental records and was an insulin-dependent diabetic and drug addict, according to sheriff’s officials.
