Possibly as he pulled the car to a stop by the time they were able to get out and get him… it happened in Oklahoma… still feeling targeted event
I followed that one closely. Totally different circumstances.

JMO, I think his Mom may have called 911 after Caden contacted her. Which opens a whole other line of questions.

They didn’t want his vehicle, it was left at the scene. Apparently they wanted him? Why would four hispanic males want a 17 year old kid? Why shoot him, then take him away?

If he did indeed contact Mom, was he able to do that after he was shot and before they grabbed him? Was his phone found at the scene?
At 17 I think he’d be likely to think of mom first knowing she’d know how to get help if he had limited time.. yes, think his phone was found broken from what I’ve read

Absolutely, just the abandoned shot up car triggered the memory of that case for me

Sadly there are a lot of ‘em… to this day the white vans without windows creep me out!
Oh yeah, there are definitely a lot of white vans around! I just don't think they're going around abducting random strangers all the time.

If he was going home from school, let’s say, I wonder if the van was seen on the school property at all on any cameras from the destination he would have been going from up until the point that he sent the text
The MSM report from WCJB indicates Caden was driving a work truck (BBM).

"Deputies say Caden was driving a work truck on Highway 484 when unknown males opened fire."

Was he working, and not attending school or possibly an after-school job? If indeed there's foul play and he was shot - did the work truck make him a target?

Was napping when the AMBER Alert came through and woke me up. I really hope this kid is found safe, but the possibility of him being wounded makes me see a grimer outcome.

I believe he works on his family's blueberry farm, and IMO he was driving a truck from the farm.

It seems the family owns a farm. Maybe he was working for his family business. That’s my top theory as of now, that someone (or multiple people) had a beef with the family. Hopefully the family has info that might narrow the search

Sure wish he remembered that if he called 911, help would arrive even faster. I guess he was in a panic and thought texting his mom would be better. Wonder where the abductors were while he texted.

I'm trying to figure out the logisitics of how the crime went down and it's not easy. Why would they open fire on him in the first place?

The only scenario that comes to mind is road rage, but then why kidnap? Yet, clearly the teen is not at the crime scene.

If he was shot/abducted, it could be a case of misidentification or that he was involved in something and didn't understand the dangers. Alternatively he was targeted by one individual who staged this to mislead investigators.

Hopefully there are some cameras in the area that can confirm if a white van was driving in the area?

This was what I was waiting to hit MSM. Puts a whole different perspective on what happened, IMO. What company did the work truck belong too?

Is it possible that the four men may be employees of the farm with a grudge against the family? Would a blueberry farm usually have farmhands or is picking done by machinery?

In Caden's text to his mom he mentions "one driver". What does that mean? Maybe he was just scared but I'm not sure why he would take the time to say that? Unless he's specifying road rage with one vehicle/driver coming after him?

I guess in a moment of panic a 17 year old kid could say anything he thought was important. For that reason I don’t feel it was odd to contact his Mom. He wasn’t thinking clearly.

Any reports of blood in Caden's work truck? Thank you

He works at his family's farm. IMO the truck is from the farm.

A neighbor said that the family’s farm fired some Hispanic workers not too long ago. Since Caden was driving the farm truck that had the farm logo on it, perhaps it was disgruntled employees? IMO

I think people are thinking that it is workers against the farm - but what a stupid move to be so obvious as shooting a kid of the farm owner and kidnapping him. Surely there would be smarter ways to express anger than a taking a huge risk like committing major felonies.

We're missing information, imo, because I can't make sense of how/why this went down.
