After listening to mini-bios of jurors, prosecutor questions them about experience with law enforcement.

This is the only tweet since lunch. I've noticed they slow down in the afternoon.

Thanks for posting those again, the emails from the husband really bother me, he just seemed to want Julie to 'straighten up' and take responsibility and be more of a role model, she was completely out of control by this stage, and I don't understand why the people around her thought 'straight talking' would do any good here.

After reading the emails and such it seems that her odd mouth movements that can be seen in the video where she is being escorted in the white jumpsuit and called Tardive dyskinesia. I had erroneously thought that was due to the emotional distress in realizing that she killed her own children. I was wrong - Those weren't due to her mental state (albeit they surely do help the insanity defense IMHO), they were due to Tardive dyskinesia which apparently are brought on by the drugs she was taking.
I find it interesting that she doesn't appear to have that issue presently in the courtroom.

I think she'd taken a large amount of medication after the killings which made the TD even worse than usual the day she was arrested, someone with a better memory than me may be able to explain.

Not here. The jury pool members just left the courtroom. Attnys and judge at what looks like sidebar and Defendant is sitting by herself at the table looking down.

This second part of today has been pretty blah..for lack of a better word. As the tweet above said, various jury members stood up, stated some things about themselves, where they worked, family members..how affected by mental illness. Nothing really specific stood out to mention.

Chelly, yes mine is in and out.

I think her tardive dyskinesia has mainly cleared up once she was off the drugs that originally caused it. Lucky for her, in some cases it becomes permanent.

I think jail has been hard on her, the difference in her looks between arrest and today are striking.

I live one county over from this trial, so our local cable network is broadcasting this trial. I'm watching this one that way so i don't have a link.

The sound was cut off so I didn't hear anything after the male juror in the green shirt stood and talked.

The defendant was handcuffed and escorted out of the courtroom, so I'm assuming we are done for the day. The live feed is now off.

ETA: I was wrong! Live feed back up in the middle of questions for the jury.
They are being asked if they are affiliated with or know of any of the witnesses.

One potential Juror knows of Dr. Taylor, but not in a professional capacity, Juror does not feel this association would affect his ability to scrutinize the doctor's testimony.

Juror #71 - Knows Detective Wise from church - Juror does not feel this association would affect ability to scrutinize the detective's testimony.

Jurors are sent home for the day. Day starts tomorrow at 8:45 EST for jurors. Jurors are reminded to not discuss this case with anyone or ask for advice about this case. No electronic devices to be used in regard to this case. No research about the case.
