I doubt she was in a blackout. When the police woke her from her sleep on the patio floor, I don't think she mentioned the words "who are you" "what are you doing on my patio" "what's going on" "where am I" "where's my kids"???

I'm sorry, but I must ask a graphic question. Adams said that the kids' wounds were similar. Was each one shot both in the mouth and the head?!

Both in head and mouth

how can you be in a black out and inquire if police have found the children -- didn't she ask if they found Beau in the van and Calyx upstairs in her room?

Yes- she did

I've always thought that the mouth came last, especially for daughter--only because she would have ran somehow..... and that the mouth shot was to more or less shut up "mouthy kids"....

Good heavens, I did not know that she shot them twice...and once in the mouth! How absolutely monstrous!

But the partner was just one person not two right? JS shot and killed her son, then quietly went upstairs and came up behind her daughter and shot and killed her. Two people killed in different places with a time lapse between the killings.

Then she pulled/dragged her daughter's corpse into the bed and covered her with a blanket. She went back to the car and covered her son with a blanket and then went to patio where she had a little sleepy poo on the divan? All in a blackout? No way.

How'd that work out for the drunk stabber? Guilty of murder or temporary insanity?

And then reloaded the gun.

Ofcr says they did not get a response at the front door, went around to a secondary entrance of the home #JulieSchenecker

When Ofcr approached #JulieSchenecker he saw blood, began asking if she was okay. Says she didn't make a statement of trying to harm herself

Is JS taking a little cat nap? After all she is used to 20 hours a day lounging around in the sack.

This is indicative of mental illness which is a disease. Would you be so critical of someone with cancer spending several hours a day in bed?

I don't think so? Think she said she was insane....Yeah? CUCKOOHEAD mentioned blackout. But I wonder what she does remember?

*The Fog* (HaHa) :scared:

I was just thinking out loud about what possible shape this woman could have been in to kill her two kids. Not that I think being in a possilbe drunken blackout is a legal excuse for murder.

I wonder what spin the defense is going to put on JS buying the gun, enduring the 'cooling off' period between purchase and ownership and then shooting both kids.

Ofcr says #JulieSchenecker's speech was slurred. Her responses were slow and slurred, was wearing pajamas and had blood on white robe

How dare the police interrupt her morning slumber on the lanai, after all she did leave post-it notes on the front door that they'd be back Tues.

When officers asked Schenecker questions, they got "either a very slow response, no response, or a slurred response" #scheneckertrial

Copulos sat with Schenecker at the kitchen table while Officer Noble began searching for the kids. #scheneckertrial

bloodmeridian, Sorry I took your 'very, very, drunk to block out what you are actually doing' comment to imply a blackout. And I didn't see that fitting what happened here.

This officer was keeping #JulieSchenecker in check. Julie seemed to be lucid and answering questions
