I am surprised she didn't want her daughter to see the bullet coming... she shot her from behind.

At this point I wouldn't be shocked to find out that JS cocked the revolver before she crept or tiptoed up the staircase to the computer room. I know it was a carpeted house but I wouldn't be surprised that she stalked her way up to the second floor in complete silence.

I know the husband and family were trying to get her into rehab (I think), or get her some help prior to the murders. Do we know anymore about the family relationships yet?

You raise an interesting question bloodmeridian. I don't know that I have heard of anyone shooting not one but two people located in TWO different places while in a blackout.

I have! Not shooting....but stabbing their partner! And waking up next to them dead, not having a clue what had happened!

But I see your point. It is an extremely intricate incident to carry out in a blackout. Still? The sub-conscience is very powerful? Jury's out.

Agree. She wasn't grateful for the mother in laws help during the day. Instead I remember hearing that JS thought the husband (was he the ex at that time?) should be there in the home and the MIL gone.

IMO she was trying to keep her spouse bound to her.

I don't think son would have gotten into car if mom was really really bad---they had been warned IIRC by their father not to

how can you be in a black out and inquire if police have found the children -- didn't she ask if they found Beau in the van and Calyx upstairs in her room?

But the partner was just one person not two right? JS shot and killed her son, then quietly went upstairs and came up behind her daughter and shot and killed her. Two people killed in different places with a time lapse between the killings.

Then she pulled/dragged her daughter's corpse into the bed and covered her with a blanket. She went back to the car and covered her son with a blanket and then went to patio where she had a little sleepy poo on the divan? All in a blackout? No way.

How'd that work out for the drunk stabber? Guilty of murder or temporary insanity?

I've always thought that the mouth came last, especially for daughter--only because she would have ran somehow..... and that the mouth shot was to more or less shut up "mouthy kids"....
