One more defense witness expected after lunch in #ScheneckerTrial then a rebuttal state witness tomorrow

I didn't take it that way. If you watch her walk in, she looks really mean and straight-faced all the way until she turns her head. She opens her mouth in a 'I can't believe you're here' sort of way, and then winks to whoever that person is. JMO.

Is there video of this? Did she do it just after the morning break?

When my middle daughter was 12/13... I was separated from her father... he was at the house one day with his gf and we were discussing child support and making promises to pick the girls up and then not showing or calling. During the conversation he yells out... "I hate " My daughter was in her room and she heard him say that about her!

She was forever changed by that statement from her father.

My parents were divorced when I was 2 and I can remember my mother saying on several occasions that no man would marry her with 3 children. It has always stuck in my mind!

People with HPD are often diagnosed as having a depression when they exaggerate the negatives in their situation and may also be diagnosed as bipolar if the therapist observes them alternating between describing high or low emotional states.

BTW, earlier in the trial, it was stated that aside from being bi-polar, JS also had a personality disorder: Borderline personality disorder.

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought out during the trial. Or, will the prosecution bring it up in rebuttal. As with HPD, it points to narcissism.

Looking forward to hearing his testimony. My initial impression of this Dr. is that he is very professional, intelligent and a pleasure to listen to. I hope with all hope that he leaves out the fluff and just testifies to the facts.

My plea: Please defense, focus on questions regarding if she knew right from wrong.

Won't that touch on if she knew committing filicide was wrong? Or is his purpose to educate the jury on filicide itself?
