In 2011, asked to review records (police records, medical records, psychiatric records, military records, jail records) and also met w/ JS from 2011 to 2013 for 4 visits, total of 10 hours.

Her mental health and physical treatment well documented.

Her diagnosis in the medical records initially Depression, then around 15 years ago, shifted to Bipolar Disorder, then around 2002-2010 Bipolar Disorder w/ psychotic features, and then Schizo-affective Disorder.

Bipolar - formerly called Manic-depressive disorder. Incapacitating. To have psychotic features means one is having delusional thinking, or hallucinations (hearing or seeing things others can't see). More severe form of bipolar disorder.

Schizo-affective disorder have periods where they don't seem to be having mood problems but they're having psychotic features.

Did this doctor say that filicide happens 95,000 a year here in the U.S.? Is he trying to make it sound rather commonplace? IMO it is the worst thing you could do to your child...

Does anyone know who the State's rebuttal witness is?

From what I can gather. Pros objected to something. Dr. was saying that the family members he spoke with said the same thing that the records did - she was getting worse and worse.

Side bar - then jury out. Judge says he will leave the courtroom while both pros and def get to speak with Dr.

That's all I heard.

The only family member he could have talked to who lived with JS was PS. Anything reported by people who hadn't seen her or only had conversations with her or PS would be hearsay.
