The 3rd year resident was under supervision, right? She also saw other doctors at ther times. She played the doctors, the situation, to suit her. Sorry defense attorney I don't buy it. JS made the choice to kill her children and if she could have she would have killed her now ex husband and ex mother in law too. If she ever gets out these two and others better be very careful. MOO

Why was it 9 months though?

no idea but that is how long it was. (plus they kept her a bit longer to get her back on her meds)

She wanted off her meds and hoped the treatments would help her achieve those goals based on what I was following along with during testimony

Defense saying she didn't sign the Hippa waiver because she didn't want him to find out about her gambling...she'd apparently confided to her docs about that.

And that's something I've been wondering about...he let her control the household finances (accdg to his testimony), and didn't find out about the gambling until after the murders. But wasn't there something said about a $10K loan to pay off the gambling debts or to pay the household bills or something?

To me that means she chose to stay in bed and contradicts what her attorney said earlier. She said it was her MI that kept her in bed.

Yeah, I'm kind of baffled she went that route. Certainly makes the "I'll get out of bed when the b---- leaves" comment seem like another choice Julie consciously made.
