...but didn't she say about 40 min. ago that her drinking (in the earlier days, when she was just having 1 or 2) that the alcohol never interfered with her meds working?

Doesn't that infer that they were kicking in?

For personal reasons I'm reacting quite viscerally to the grandiose martyrdom line of reasoning that (IMO) is happening here...my personal experience has to do with someone with bipolar 1 no less, so it's really hitting home for me. Not in the way the defense wants, of course.

and I think the alcohol played a huge part in all of this. I further think that the emails passed around between family members backed her in a corner.. one that she did not want to return from and that was her personal choice.. not a psychotic one.:twocents:

exactly.

read the emails.. she did not want her around to see what she was doing and not doing.

also the emails clearly say the kids were upset with her drinking before driving them in the car.

if anything, that treating doc, who had all the info from Parker (and according to his own testimony bought her stories during an office visit and did not baker act her tho he thought about it and did not share any of this info.. legally of course.. with parker... should truly be at fault here... He was owned by a manipulative patient imhoo)

This slathering of her husband all over from here to there is making me sick when he tried it all and based on her emails right before his last trip to Q with the army, she was telling him she was working out, etc and was going to the family treatment so she was giving him a false sense of security that she was feeling better so she could carry out her plans. :twocents::twocents:

I wish we could have heard Parker's true thought's on what it was like living with Julie on a day to day basis. I know it was probably tough, but what was she really like? Did he see her as this mentally ill as everyone else?

I just don't believe she could have hid her MI from him if she was that sick as this defense is claiming. jmo

Of course they are trying to blame Parker. They are desperately trying to place blame on anyone other than the defendant.

IMO

which is exactly why the defense will fail. A truly insane person isn't going to place blame on others. They truly believe they did the right thing in murdering someone.

This woman's own words are the most damaging evidence against her insanity defense. She was not insane, is not insane, has never been insane.
