9h ·***Update #3***
Deputies will keep searching through the predawn hours and into the morning. There are no updates to report at this time (approx. 1:50 a.m.), but we will continue to check out all tips and thoroughly search the area. Thank you to all our partner agencies who have joined in the search, and everyone who’s sharing this post and spreading the word.
***Update #2***
Units are continuing a thorough search on the ground and from the air, with additional help from our surrounding agencies. Lombardy Drive is closed in the area of Firefighters Park. We are checking out every tip that comes in and will continue to update with any significant developments.
***Update #1***
We have K-9s on the ground assisting in the search. Additional foot traffic in the area may affect their ability to track.
We do appreciate everyone who came out to help - but if you can stay in your vehicles and out of the K-9 units’ path, that would be a huge help as well!
As soon as we have new information to report, we will post it here asap.
