every wallMart I've been in has a "dressing room lady"... i wonder what she thought? i mean, my ex husband didnt even go IN the dressing room with our daughter when she was younger....

At that time of night, I doubt there was one. I have tried on clothing before, with no one in sight, even during the day.

I'm thinking they are trying to validate the moms story also.

When did she change clothes? Where is the stroller? Did they go somewhere else after leaving DG and before Walmart?

I personally think those are the $64,000.00 questions right there.

Ok- I just got home.... so I'm not sure it has been corrected. The captions under the photos of these girls state they are 3 & 5 not 4 & 5. Illegal to transport the youngest without a carseat...I am afraid to catch up on this thread.

Brace yourself, girlfriend. It ain't pretty what you are about to read as you catch up with this thread.

I didn't know they started closing this Walmart at 11pm. Wonder if it had to do with the high crime in this area. This is the same Walmart that the kids raided not too long ago.
What do they call these people that go in places and dance? But these kids ran sack the place. It was during the early morning hours when that took place.

Flash mobs. IIRC, momrids6 posted a video of that particular flash mob to show us the layout of this particular WM.

I was thinking the exact same thing mrsward. What was poor little Cherish thinking when that man took her in that dressing room? She had to have felt awkward about it. I wonder is she was able to communicate that to her mom. Most children I know would have at least whined about it and not have wanted to go.

Aside from that, they teach the kids this stuff is bad and wrong in kindergarten--no one but mommy and your doctor should see you in your underwear/naked/touch you, (and touch is only if you need to be examined, assist in toileting if very young etc.) My girl used to come home from school on the day they devote to that stuff each year chanting this chant they taught them, "Hey! Don't touch me there! This is my private square!" (square drawn encompassing the entire torso.)

So I wonder if the police and department of children's services are going to ask mom why this changing room situation occurred and exactly how upset about this was Cherish.

Because, IMO, if an 8 year old is not upset by the prospect of a strange man watching her undress, come into a changing room with her, it's because she's been conditioned to think it's normal and things of this nature have happened to her before.

I hate to even think it, but I wonder if, in the autopsy, they find evidence that Cherish may have been sexually abused previously.

I have thought the same thing. That poor girl.

1. I really, really want an account of DS's online communications and cell phone activity the day of the incident and,

2. I really, really want to know why the media and law enforcement are not showing RP's face

Re the b/f and Walmart:

I knew I'd read somewhere that he'd been concerned about them being out so late and got a ride with a neighbor. I searched and searched for it the other night, to no avail. So without a link, I wasn't going to say anything. The only thing I could find at that point was how he'd supposedly gotten a ride to WM with a friend/neighbor after being informed Charish was missing...but I know I read the account that he was worried and had asked to be taken to WM because it made no sense: How did he know they were at WM?

ETA: Sorry. Meant to snip this from AstroKitty's long quote:

boyfriend randomly shows up at the walmart (although he ..according to himself.. didn't know they were going there) because they had failed to return

For some reason the police officer talking in the presser said that they have pixelated the face to avoid ID'ing the person in the photo. I thought it was a little strange. Who else is it going to be than the mother?

Imo, LE blurred her face so they will not be legally reponsible if something happens to that woman. The only other pics that show her are MSM photos.

Why do I believe this is why? Because I do not know these people, and it is taking every single bit of self control to not drive down there and -----

ETA Let's just say I would find out exactly what the deal was.

I don't understand the mom's boyfriend saying that the mom won't get in a car with HIM and HIS friend that she is not familiar with, because she is so cautious. Yet she will get her and her KIDS in a car with a perfect stranger.

If it was me, I would trust the man I had been living with for years IN HIS CAR and his friend I had never met before, before I trusted my children in a car with a stranger. But that's just me. It just makes no sense. Not even with the "He came across as a family man" carp. No, he didn't. She said he came across as creepy. Also, isn't her boyfriend a family man? But she won't get in a car with him and a friend? Makes no sense.

Does make you wonder just how much of a "stranger" this man was, doesn't it?

Indeed my tee mouse ...

The younger kids need to be pulled out of there like yesterday; and at the very least, this woman needs to undergo serious evaluation before she is even allowed to visit with them.

Has there ever been a similar case like this on WS?

Yes, I agree. I think they realize that there is so much public outrage against her that they are protecting her by not showing her face.

I don't mean to get off topic here, but do any of you all remember the Cesar Laurean/Maria Lauterbach case? A lot of people thought the wife of Cesar Laurean was also involved in Maria's death, but she never got charged. There was a lot of public outrage against her and people wanted her investigated - yet there was not one picture of her posted anywhere on the internet for ions. Many people think she was being protected by the NC police and military and that they were somehow pulling her image off the internet. All the pics of Cesar and her together - her face was blurred out.

If you look at the WM photo, it's a photo laying on a desk. Under that photo is another one. If you turn the photo clockwise, there's a clearer shot of Mom wearing the same black dress as at DG. She is in the shoe aisle. You can see the boxes behind her. In the top photo he looks to me like he's looking in the cart thinking "htf am I gonna pay for this?"

MOO is that LE is looking for the stroller in hopes of finding the clothes and flip flops that Cherish was wearing.

Quoting myself because the more I look at the picture, the more it looks like her purse in the shopping cart, and that's what he's looking at.
