Rayne Perrywinkle's daughters walk to the car to go to the funeral home with their mom to make arrangements to bury their 8-year-old sister.

Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home is donating the funeral services and the cemetery plot to Cherish's family.

Donations are being accepted to help the family with other funeral items, such as the headstone and flowers for the service.

I have read that the mother has some kind of advocate assisting her. It would be best if advocates, lawyers, somebody with common sense, would tell everybody involved to let their differences go for these services.

It really bothers me that a murdered girl's funeral focus can be diverted. This should be about Cherish.

Thank you for clarifying that. I couldn't figure out how they no car one day and then did have a car the next.

There are so many good people in the world. I can't imagine the pain and anguish that Cherish's loved ones are feeling.

Welp, I am seriously regretting opening up this thread today. Hadn't caught up with the case for a couple of days. The new details have made me nauseous. I barely even know what to say.

Though amongst everything with RP, it should always be remembered that without the offender this never would have happened. I'm still in disbelief at how devious and clever (in a bad way) he is.

this won't be popular opinion but: i'm not too sure how I feel about the fathers' atty posting on FB about the case. I find it highly unprofessional and personally, I'd fire him. I'm grateful for the posts though, gives an insight to it all .. but it's not helping anything.

I agree with you here. If the father is paying him for his services, I wouldn't be surprised if he's just doing what the father is asking. Or, just trying to do whatever he can to defend the father. (It doesn't seem like the father is getting much of a voice.) However, I still think he should have used his better judgement and not post of social network sites.

I agree as well. As an attorney, can't he being doing something useful like filing something with the court or talking to the PD about his client's rights to attend the funeral? Seems like a lawyer should take the legal route to assist his client over a social media post.
