WARNING GRAPHIC

Well, I can't imagine any jury is going to buy the "Okay, I left Wal-mart with her but she jumped out of my van at a light and I never touched her" story.

His semen was found on

Cherish's oral swabs
Cherish's vaginal swabs
Cherish's mons pubis and labial swabs, and
Cherish's anal swabs.

Monster.

And last but not least, (and I'm skipping over reiterating the details and findings of Cherish's autopsy, which are also included in the discovery), the last few pages seem to indicate old DS ordered himself a DSM-IV Manual. Presumably so he can pick out which mental illness he wants to use as his defense?

Pic # 4 (of 24) at this link of the new pictures released today says "Cherish had disappeared the night before after police say 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle went with Donald Smith to get food at the McDonald's at Walmart and never returned. Smith, who had taken the Perrywinkle family there to go shopping, was buying rope.

Did we know this before? I never heard that aspect before. I feel so bad for Cherish's father who has to deal with hearing about things like this. I know it must have him so devastated to hear details of how his young lady (as her Daddy called her) suffered at the hands of this monster that her mom handed her over too.

But did he actually end up buying the rope? Or was he just acting like he was going to buy it? I thought the rope was in one of the evidence pictures at the register/bag carousel (with evidence marker 1 at the Walmart) as if he had left it there as he was leaving the store. :waitasec:

I don't think there's any 'used' rope listed in the collected evidence. :dunno:

:dunno: I dunno if he bought it or not. Even if he didn't, how odd that he would have rope in his possession in walmart anyway. That is a definite red flag if you are attempting to befriend and kidnap a child. How brazen and bold and how dimwitted and criminally neglectful of RP to miss ever single huge red waving flag that night. Ah, but I'm not even going to get started on my thoughts of that parasitic creature.

This is all so horrifying and difficult to read. Cherish was such a beautiful child and she had a father that loved her and wanted to give her a good life. I think those things ate away at the momster. I have to believe that her day in a cell will come soon too.

I hate DS with everything in me and no method of death will ever be cruel or painful enough to suit me but I do not believe he kidnapped Cherish. He took what was willingly given to him and did what monsters do, for that he will pay but he shouldn't pay alone.

Thanks to those providing info from the docs. I have not been able to bring myself to read them but appreciate being able to take it in bits and pieces for now.

It breaks my heart that her father has to know the details. I cannot imagine processing that info about my child.

The only thing I can say about her mother is

nothing.

Sits on hands and creeps back into lurk mode.

You and I are on the same page. Imo, she knew damn well what DS left Walmart to do. She may have expected him to come back, but I'm not so sure anymore.

A Ms. G (who has known Rayne and Cherish for the last three years) made a statement (page 31 of discovery) that Rayne told Cherish just days before she was killed that if she died she would go to Heaven. She further told Ms. G that she didn't think Cherish would make it to age 7, but she was able to make it to age 8...

  • #771
I almost wish I could unread all of that. :( :(

RIP Cherish.

Okay, what do you guys make of page 31? Scroll down to the bottom it's an interview with a friend of Rayne. "Ms. Perrywinkle stated to Ms. G that she didn't think her daughter would make it to age 7, but she was able to make it to age 8." (this was allegedly spoken days before she was killed.)

W.T.Heck?

Edit: was writing at the same time as you Magdalyn. Guess it jumped out at both of us!

I'm trying to sit on my hands but....

If one looks through the discovery, they will see RP's 'contact sheet' with police starting on page 123.

RP herself was a victim of something that should make her VERY aware of the types of horrific crimes males can perpetrate on females.

Add that to the fact that she told police and the 911 dispatcher DS was creepy and paying too much attention to Cherish.

Add that to the fact that RP told the dispatcher she feared Cherish was going to be raped and murdered. Suddenly, that just occurred to her?

She KNEW what could happen to Cherish before it happened. Yet she sent him with Cherish to the fitting rooms, twice. Then out of her eyesight completely. IMO, her eye was on the (fake) gift card prize and she was very willing to roll the dice. After all, she'd already (allegedly) told Cherish she'd go to Heaven if she died and, gosh, Cherish was on borrowed time anyway since she didn't think she'd live much past 7. :furious:

Now I gotta :hiding: before a mod comes in, smacks me upside the head, drags me away and locks me up!

We can only hope that RP will do what she does best and run to the media to explain away the negative stuff said about her in those horrifying pages. While ignoring the hell inflicted upon her child RP may very well weave a noose and slither right into it.

I saw that too. I think that statement is kind of weird if it's true.

I wish I could go back and not read the evidence, not look at the pictures. I have been up most of the night. I have cried and cried. I just don't understand how a mother (gag), can be so stupid, naive, evil?? Not sure what word to use. It just baffles me. I was never able to have kids and I would have been a great mother. So when these monsters do not protect their kids and intentionally place them in dangerous situations, it just hits me hard.

Through my sleepless nights, some other things popped into my mind. I wonder if there was some truth in the alibi statement. I wonder if RP is the one described as the prostitute the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 was smoking crack with. Hmmm?? Makes one wonder.

The witness statement concerning RP's comments about Cherish going to heaven and not making it to age 7, but she made it to age 8?? I could understand if this was a terminal child that had defeated all odds, but that isn't the case. Chilling to say the least.

Going to step away for the day. Try to get back in the right frame of mind. I am filled with hate, rage, and revenge and these two scumbags don't deserve anymore of my time!

RIP sweet baby girl, you will get justice!!!

Actually, now that I think on it, it sounds very Rayne-like. After all, she told the 911 operator she feared Cherish was being raped and murdered....probably right at the same exact time Cherish was being raped and murdered.

And then she told detectives she was a psychic, and the next time she saw Cherish, it would be in a box.

Seems like she was selectively clairvoyant though. The year before, predicts Cherish's death. Two days before....reminds Cherish she'll go to Heaven if she dies. Puts children in van with DS, feels super uneasy. Notices he's watching Cherish too closely.

Wal-Mart shopping spree takes over

*psychic ability OFF*

sees nothing except free clothes, free clothes, free clothes, yeah, DS, dressing rooms are thataway, sure, take my little girl you're paying too much attention to.... now you two go away and grab me a cheeseburger will ya, I'm trying to shop.

Store closing, no Donald, no gift card.

*psychic ability back on*

Oops. I see Cherish being raped and murdered. And then in a box.

It's like the (invisible) walmart gift card was psychic RP's kryptonite.

That is a very odd comment... Cherish wasn't terminally ill or anything? Unless it was an exclamation of surprise that her parenting skills hadn't yet managed to get any of her children killed before the age of 8, I guess I'm wondering if RP had ever cultivated a psychic reputation before Cherish was murdered or if it wasn't just a quick invention during her talks with the 911 and the police to cover up for something that she had let slip but shouldn't have known as an innocent, clueless mother who had been fooled by a clever perp. If the person who allegedly heard the comment is a close friend they might perhaps be persuaded to go along with the psychic cover story.

May DS rot.

My middle brother was born 2 months early due to a heart defect. The doctors never expected him to make it and when he did they said if the defect didn't close he wouldn't make it to 5. As a teen when annoyed the life out of me I would threaten to kill him (jokingly) because he had lived far longer than expected anyway. My mom & Grandmom would get really upset every time I said it. I can't imagine a mother saying something so cold.

We've yet to discuss that within the released discovery docs, a police interview with DS's mother is included. Earlier the same day that he raped and murdered Cherish, his mother went with him to meet his drug dealer so she could settle ol' DS's crack bill.

And, knowing he's a registered sex offender, and has tried to lure children in his past, she's totes cool with him driving her seatless creeper van and being gone with it all night.

Can you say enabler?
