Even if the judge does allow it where is the defense going with it? If he gets death he'll be segregated. It's almost as if they're saying, "he needs to be segregated, so choose death."

Maybe they are trying to say being segregated for life is worse than death?
Or, in the alternative, if he gets LWOP, let's make a special exception for him and build a new wing on the prison strictly for pedophiles/child murderers.
Is anyone a wee bit concerned that a juror was wanting to ask a question during the mitigation phase? Could be nothing at all though.
