I think this doctor had too much caffeine this morning

Guys, I literally can't understand anything. It's the job of the defense to make sure the expert witness is relatable to the jury. This attorney should be asking more questions and not letting the guy just rattle off long responses. He should slow him down, he should clarify. He is not in control of guiding this testimony, at all. He is really failing to do his job here. No way is the jury getting any of this.

I think it is beyond his capability to understand, too. It's not just most of us!

Have any of these incidents been proven by medical records or is this self reporting. Heart attack, fall off bike, car accident?

At least if they had DS's mother testify, she could take a stab at corroborating his self-reports. Not that I'm in his "corner", mind you!

15 mins to the cross examination. Thank goodness

The stenographer is a hero. I can't imagine how difficult that was for her.

:chillout:

I think you're right about that. They should have tested his caffeine level before he took to the stand!

A much needed break now?

Will the jurors deliberate today?

Prosecution is up...this Dr not licensed in FL

Malingering? Oh yes imo

Every time Dr. Wu has been retained by defense counsel he has found something wrong with the defendants' brains. Dr. Wu clarifies that he is only retained in cases where generally something is likely wrong.

  • #72
He has never spoken to the defendant.

Dr. Wu agrees that not everybody who has suffered a traumatic brain injury has impulse control issues or becomes addicted to cocaine.
Dr. Wu similarly agrees that not everybody who gets in a car accident becomes a pedophile or drug addict.

  • #75
Was that only civil litigation he testified for?

  • #76
He can't directly answer whether he knows if DS acted on impulse control or conscious choice the night of the murder

  • #77
Time for the Dr. to get off the stand.

DS should have laid down the crack pipe and his impulse control problem would have been solved.

Dr Sesta is up now

  • #79
I guess they revamped their witness list. Another Dr.

Wait...is this another brain guy?
