I can think of only one reason why no jurors have given anonymous comment: LE has asked them not to, while they work on filing charges for the first parent's death.

I am curious-- had Cathy threatened with a weapon after Collin told her what he wanted to do to her ?

You will never convince me that the same child was forced to kill both parents in self defense. The odds are just beyond belief. Add to that his serious lack of emotion or care about any of it......he will kill again. I would bet money on it.

No, I was disappointed. I think I'm the only one here who agreed with the verdict. I'd be interested in what they'd have said but none of them seems to have given an interview.

I think it is pretty obvious, statistically speaking, this would not be the outcome for anyone who looks different than this man.

Well, I agree with you but Cathy Griffith would have lost custody of her kids and would have been arrested and charged with child abuse a long time ago if she'd looked different than she did. A Florida DCF worker testified to Cathy's extensive history of documented child endangerment of both of her children and repeated removals of both her sons by the state. Her parental rights would've been terminated pretty quickly if she hadn't been middle-class and a certain complexion.

If I had been on this jury, I would not have gone public, for fear he would search me out. He's a head case, no question.

Perhaps the fear came after the trial, when they finally had the opportunity to learn he'd also killed his other parent.

They knew he'd killed his dad. They were told he'd committed a previous homicide. They weren't sequestered and enough hints were dropped that they could figure it out. They also weren't allowed to know the previous homicide was deemed a self-defense, they were only told he wasn't charged.

I actually became interested in the trial and watched it in it's entirety (it only lasted 5 days) and a lot of what has been reported in the media is inaccurate. The jury was told Collin had committed a previous homicide by shooting but were only told that the outcome was that he was not charged. They were not told the relationship between Collin and the previous victim but they weren't sequestered and it seemed pretty obvious based on other info they were given. I'm assuming it wasn't a huge shock to them to find out afterward.

The timeline was Collin went to live with his dad and then Collin went to live with Cathy after Collin was involved in a homicide by shooting and then Collin's dad is suddenly removed from the narrative, there's no further discussion about him. And then texts from Cathy to Collin were introduced into evidence where she refers to "you killed your [redacted]".
