At least this bedtime conversation between these two is not like the one we heard with Jodi Arias moaning

*runs*

I gotta say that Cappelman's whole demeanor and attitude towards defense lawyers is an INSPIRATION! I love it! She acts like they're not there. Doesn't even blink when they talk and doesn't rush to address their outlandish accusations. Doesn't get defensive. Doesn't seem bothered at all!

She's really great.

It is no longer strange, why KM did not take plea deals if she were anywhere of guilt. KM appears to be a strong person in all these dealings. If involved in what is alleged, she appears to be a driver. She is not an accessory.

I am not familiar with all the protagonists’ voices. Hence, I could not say for sure who said what. Was a mention made of a New York accent? And, a statement of the effect of “I will find out if my brother is behind this …”? Is it a fact that SG has brother in New York?

These Miami lawyers appear to be affluent, highly educated and smart. Does it seem as if they are talking down at the Tallahassee judge and State attorneys? Sometimes, it seems DeCoste is “speaking at (even spitting at)” the witnesses instead of “speaking to” the witnesses.

TV screen and courtroom perceptions could be different. If they are in fact speaking down at these Tallahassee people in the courtroom, the Tallahassee local jury members may resent the defendants.
IMO: KM is not talking because her children's Father, SG is facing the death penalty if he is found guilty of the murder at this point. Would you talk if you were in KM's position?

Who would've thought that the drunkard Garcia would come out sounding like the smartest person in all of this? Wow.

Thinking KM is more concerned about CA than SG, she knows which side her toast is buttered, imo, speculation.

Did an educated defense attorney just use the term "baby mama" in a question to an FBI special agent? Just checkin'.

I've noticed DeCoste has used "I'm sure you'll agree" a LOT less today. Someone is reading Websleuths.

ETA: This isn't DeCoste.....getting confused!

It would be really hard, that's for sure. But I'd rather my kids have at least one parent out of jail than none, so it's hard to understand. I could see being super conflicted about it, though. My exH isn't a saint (although compared to SG he is), but he still loves his kids and they him, so it would be hard to do something that would remove him from their lives forever.

I'm having a derp moment...what is SG's defense again? It's honestly not very clear. That LR was pressured into a false confession for a deal?

I believe it's that LR was the trigger man, and not him.

Zabaneh is grasping for anything cause he's got nothing substantial to use to defend his client.

Also, I believe at one point he was "cross examining" the witness and said "in summation...". I can't remember what the judge said when he stopped him, but I laughed!

He's so desperate that he tried to tackle with the judge a few minutes ago! That was a shot at the judge commenting about the video the judge wouldn't let him play. And judge smacked him down. He just looks bad to the jury. Not sure why you'd want to alienate the jury with these tactics.

I missed a bunch. Did they play the wiretap of CA and KM at the restaurant?
