I don't think official records need a witness. Self-authenticating.

Sworn testimony may be admitted as long as it is relevant. Thus, when they have the economic expert on the stand they can ask, "Did you review the sworn testimony of Ms. Magbanua regarding her income?" Then they can read it just like they "published" the text messages.

If it’s a hung jury this is a huge blow to the prosecution! I would wager they might not even re-try her. They might decide they have the two hit men in prison and the others, they just can’t get them for it.

I don’t quite understand the rationale for the state wanting KM and SG tried together. It may have resulted in this jury almost deciding to split the difference.

I agree. This is ultimately going to be good news. She's under the "sword of damocles" more than ever and the prosecution can now charge CA and DA.
