Mystery remains around dead couple, 3 unharmed children found along I-4

[…] Investigators did not find any drugs in the vehicle and neither parent has a record of drug use. […]

Video: “. . . the three boys are ok; tonight we can report they are with family and no longer in state custody.”

It only takes one time.

Woops I didn't post my theory here.

I looked at it earlier. I can definitely see an OD scenario but I don't know why they would be out of the car unless it was a "bad trip". Drugs would be at the scene and easily ruled in or out by LE. Usually you do Heroin or cocaine, etc and you get the high almost immediately depending on the method used to get it in your body. If it was snorted or something fat soluble it takes longer the metabolize so they'd get hit with the high later. Could explain being out of the car/ no drugs on scene if they were done at a different place.

I have a feeling though LE knows what happened.

The heroin mixed with fentanyl caused 12 OD's one night in my city with one death.

The next night, a neighbor came home to find her visiting nephew and friend unconscious. The friend recovered, however, her nephew died. The cause was heroin mixed with fentanyl. It was almost an instant reaction to the injection. (You can tell I am not knowledgeable on the correct words in the drug world!! LOL). It was a big happening in my quite refined neighborhood!

Due to the quick reaction the above two had, I would think this couple would not have had the mindset to pull off the road, put on hazards, and get out of the car. Of course, I guess it would depend on the dosage of the mixture.

Putting the hazard lights on could have been to call attention. Mom slumped over car desperate maternal instincts to care for children.
Something ingested - possibly followed someone - someone left the scene?
four year old can talk best witness

I am confused about where they were coming from. I originally heard they were coming from visiting family for Holidays.

But I just read upthread, that they were on the way to see family for New yrs day. So it seems odd , if they had no drug history, that they would use hard drugs on the drive to grandmas. That makes no sense. I had thought they had already been at a celebration---and then it seems possible they were given something and then felt sick on way home...

Weird they would both OD at the same time if it wasn't planned, but why would u leave your kids in the car!!! This is all kinds of strands mooooo

Not is someone sold them a hot shot (bad drugs laced with something else)

Implications?? ?

I took it to mean financially ...I'm not exactly a naïve girl, but if they had had a history of drugs and three small children CPS would have likely been involved at some point. The children are beautiful, and look to be happy and well cared for. I can't totally believe that they got high, and then got in the car, on the highway, with their children in tow ? I'm often wrong, though, so....

Very similar to 2009 couple

Maybe it was an intentional or unintentional poisoning from something they ate or drank.

I think if it was food poisoning it would have affected one of the children and they were checked out. Moo

Maybe they both took something to keep them awake for the drive?

It may have been the officers surmission of a substance inside the car erroneously for the mother and daughter, the 2009 couple is just listed as mysterious odd coincidence just my humble opinion
