When I first researched this woman, I stumbled across her kids' FB pages. It's purely conjecture that they might be the victims, however. They are beautiful children and teens. Quite stunning. I have to wonder if Pagoria wasn't garnering favor for herself by "pimping" children out to the highest bidder. It's disgusting.

I don't know why but it gives me the tiniest bit of hope that a willing partner was half a world away. Yes, the internet brought them together but it's good to know that they really had to work at this nasty crime.

Last time I checked, schools in Texas could also use corporal punishment. When I share that fact with Oregonians, they literally do NOT believe me. Our kids started out elementary school in a tiny Texas town in the 80s. My husband built the school and the district has gone on to win many awards. For a small town, it's quite progressive academically. I'll never forget, however, that when you entered the principal's office, a big paddle hung on the wall. I could not get over that fact.

Kat Bower who is Labbon's fiance met him online. Of course she did. She was at the home when the law came in and went through everything. Of course they did. She believes Mr. Svengali Sadist got caught up in how this American woman disciplined her children.

Could be but scads of people declared bankruptcy in 2009 or lost their homes to foreclosure. I think that Pagoria could have easily made some slick money on the side closer to home and without using children. Why didn't she prostitute herself? I'm not even certain that Lobban told her much about himself as he would be the dom and she was willing to do his bidding.

I really think that this was a long-standing fetish of hers and Lobban exploited it for all he could. If I'm correct about the children involved, they are gorgeous kids (but they are children!!). I'm not quite sure what Pagoria's motive was when she made certain to let others on that forum know that she had children in the home.

I'm hopeful that every one of his other spanking fetish contacts have been checked out carefully.

I think she had a lot of needs - companionship, sexual, and probably financial. It's unlikely that she was outright paid to produce the videos, but she probably liked the idea of being taken care of.

She also talked about being sexually stimulated by spanking from an early age, and also mentioned being spanked as a kid. Maybe she got the idea that sexual spanking was OK for parents to do to children -- who knows?

One thing that makes me curious is why Polk County has not handed the case over to the Feds. It does seem like the sheriff isn't exactly publicity-shy, but it seems like anything involving extradition from another country could get expensive fast. The sentencing for CP is also tougher at the federal level.

That's a good point, defarge. I'd think that it would automatically go to the feds as the images were not only sent across state lines but to another country.

Well, it was clear from Pagoria's profiles that she had access to kids. Not sure if she intended to advertise that, but that might have been what Lobban was looking for.

It's not too surprising that there may have been others. There would probably be a fair amount of secrecy and anonymity in an online fetish community, which would make it easy for a creep to operate freely. Reporting predatory behavior would have involved going to the police, and I'd guess that many of the people there would have been in the closet.

Just as an aside, a million dollar house on the west coast does not mean the guy is astoundingly wealthy. The average price of a home in Perth is somewhere around the $500,000 mark. Here is some info.

Also, tradespeople are paid very very well, and are respected for their work. I don't find his employment or home unusual at all, in context. I mean, nothing suspicious there. He probably, due to his age, simply traded up houses when the housing market boomed. Many, many, many people did.

There's a photo of Lobban's house at the photo-gallery link above. It's nice but not what I'd call a mansion. Just like anywhere, though, it's all about location. I haven't been able to determine what Lobban did for a living. He's described as being "independently wealthy". Family money, self-made man or possibly some illegal income? His name is Christopher Donald Lobban. There's a scientist with the same first and last name. Not him.

I checked out the fiance as I would consider her involved, I think. How could she not have known something? Interestingly enough, there's a woman by that name who is an academic and who did her thesis on "Re-thinking the possibilities of feminist scholarship in the contemporary Australian University." Hmmmmm. Might not be her but thought that was interesting.

Yes, if he lived in Mullaloo for anything longer than 15 years or so, he could have easily seen his property value increase from the low $100,000's to over a $million. The real estate market was absolutely insane along the coast for about a decade or so and many people became millionaires just by having bought in the 70's and 80's (Mullaloo, back then, was not even a desirable area, it was considered the boonies, and where people from the city would go park their campers on the beach) and rebuilt/sold/divided property in the early 2000's. People made a lot, lot, lot of money through those years. His house looks to be very average for that area, so it must be close to the beach, is all. Mullaloo is getting high-priced but it isn't really "ritzy" like some of the other areas.
Not that that has much to do with anything, but the whole "million dollar house" thing is mostly media hype/misunderstanding, IMO.

yes he is still engaged...and not the culprit as everyone think he is...He isnt a new friend of robin's...they met over 3 years ago and he broke off the friendship in Oct, 2010 but one of her daughters emailed his and begged him to start communicating with her mother again

He felt guilty and said he would talk to her again around Jan 2011 and it was soon after then that she asked him for his advice and opinion on how to discipline two of her kids as nothing she did work...she knew he had no children of his own so why would she do this? She is an officer of the law yet she never once explained to him the laws of her country regarding disciplining children - why not? Now she has dragged him and his family into this mess because he was trying to help her and her family - he did not mean it to be malicious and it definitely wasnt anything sexual...just discipline! Dont beleive everything you read in papers or the internet please...
