yes he is still engaged...and not the culprit as everyone think he is...He isnt a new friend of robin's...they met over 3 years ago and he broke off the friendship in Oct, 2010 but one of her daughters emailed his and begged him to start communicating with her mother again

He felt guilty and said he would talk to her again around Jan 2011 and it was soon after then that she asked him for his advice and opinion on how to discipline two of her kids as nothing she did work...she knew he had no children of his own so why would she do this? She is an officer of the law yet she never once explained to him the laws of her country regarding disciplining children - why not? Now she has dragged him and his family into this mess because he was trying to help her and her family - he did not mean it to be malicious and it definitely wasnt anything sexual...just discipline! Dont beleive everything you read in papers or the internet please...

Have no fear, no one here (to my knowledge) believes everything in the news or internet, just the opposite we have a tendency to take it all apart piece by piece.

What I believe from reading the docs is that Lobban is absolutely culpable and that he not only gets his kicks in S&M - but also in little girls. You don't need to be a parent or be aware of the local laws to know beating a child 50 times is wrong! So is posting nude photos/videos of children. If Lobban was trying to help he would have notified the authorities about his "friend" making her children disrobe and securing them to a beating table then paddling them 50 or 60 times - that is not only abuse, it should be called torture.

I can assure you if the state of Florida is still planning on extraditing him, they have some damning evidence because they certainly can't afford to bring him to the US for nothing.

I beleive she made them disrobe on the 20th and was arrested on the 25th May...so it was the one and only time she did this...according to what I have read...

I know Mr Lobban personally and NO he doesnt get his kicks from S&M...he has lived a DD lifestyle for the past 30 yrs with his Adult Partners only {never has kids been involved in his lifetime....He isnt that type of person...HONESTLY !!! and this is coming from someone who knows him} And remember he has never been to the States... Kajira, the only thing I can agree with you on is that she is not a true submissive. As for everything else, it doesn't matter what country you are in, but when you recieve a video of a child, any child, from any country, restrained to a table with their genitals and buttocks exposed and then beaten on with various objects, you know that you are now part of something illegal. If you are going to be downright dumb enough to get into something like this, you report immediately, or you run the risk of going down for the crime. He didn't report, he goes down, good for LE, good for both countries, good for the kids in the long run.

It tells me that they haven't finished going through his computers and videos yet. Some poor souls have to watch all that shreck and figure out how many charges to bring against him on two different continents. These things take time.

More than likely, they just aren't done looking, and LE has made it clear that they believe there are other people that were involved, possibly worldwide. Just because there are other people that saw the videos too, how is he any less culpable? The fact that he is awaiting international extradition says just a little bit about what evidence is available to be used against him. How would deleting him have stopped anything? He could have reported her to the authorities and really stopped it. Who cares if she could have protected Lobban? Lobban could have protected himself and the kids. But he didn't use his sense of right and wrong any more than she did. Once again, nothing that he could have done short of reporting her to the international or US authorities would have protected those kids. Deleting him would not have protected her kids, unless what you are saying is that she was not in control of the situation and he was the one ordering the beatings. Your argument contradicts itself. No one here has any excuses, not her and not him either.

Lobban could have done the right thing and picked up a thing called a "phone" - I'm sure you have them in Australia - and called the police to tell them that children were being abused in Florida. He could have done it anonymously, except that he was getting off on it too. :twocents:

It's one thing for adults to get off on "discipline" and "submission" but it's a whole other thing for children to be abused as part of that. Child pornography is a crime. Watching it is a crime. Having the idea for it is a crime, especially when it is shown and probably sold on the internet.
