I've been following this case but this is my first post. I am not accusing,but something smells in this case.

I think the LE smells it too. The "burglar" didn't steal the laptop because the LE took it from the home.:moo:

I'm sure LE is checking into their financial history. Were they in debt? In the mid 80's I lived not far from here in Cape Coral. I've kept in touch with a couple of people. This part of SW FL has had a huge housing bust and still hasn't recovered. Many people are underwater with their mortgages.

I feel being underwater with your mortgage means nothing unless you are trying to sell your house. Then you can't get what you need to pay off your mortgage. Otherwise, you just pay your mortgage for your housing cost.

3 days ago the energy healer posted a link and asked everyone to share Dr. teresa's message about energy healing. It strikes me as self-promotion on a murdered woman's million dollar fund page.

The whole page continues to set off my hinky meter. All kinds of inappropriate...

Is the energy healer the same as the intuitologist? These terms really blow my mind. Not trying to be close-minded or anything but...ah I'm just gonna say it.

Well, intuitologist comes back with a Google hit of Ms. Spiska and that's it. So I'm not being close-minded it's a mishmash, meaningless term.

Husband also asked for money for the foundation again 18 hours ago.

Have any of you seen before such a quick and non-stop fundraising effort immediately following an unexpected and tragic bloody murder? (Including the morning of the funeral)

I keep coming back to this. I don't think this is "normal": I think this is odd.

It is a made up term, could be many reasons for that. Look up "medical intuitive" if you want info on this type of healing. And... Don't knock it til you tried it....

There's my contribution to this so called "fundraising". Day after his wife is horribly murdered, whoever did it, the 1st thing you think about is "oh I need a million $$$$?" IMO "fundraising is not the correct word for this. I don't think it's normal either.:thinking:


ETA: why hasn't any family member/office worker asked for tips via an interview.

The more I read...do we know who made the call to alert the authorities or did somebody visit the home and find the doctor dead?

I am thinking they surely didn't miss a step there. If I was close to a female at work I don't know that I would pull the trigger that quickly. I would probably call around a bit and if it was close, which it was, drive over and check on things.

Something must have been up. I think the doctor and the nurse who worked for her and gave the interview I posted up thread must have also been friends because right from the beginning she knew something happened to the doctor.

Those are two very good examples of why the doctor would have been late. I know she was known to be very punctual but she had just traveled cross country the day before.

They pulled that trigger too quickly.

I've been skimming through this thread to try and catch up, so excuse me if this question has already been answered. But I'm reading posts that are asking who discovered her body and about her dogs not barking and about a tan vehicle being parked close to her garage at 9:00 yet a neighbor heard a scream around 6 so why would the perp stay so long, if in fact this vehicle belonged to the perp. Then I see she had a dog sitter that would come over and let her dogs out when she was out of town. Why couldn't the tan vehicle belong to the dog sitter and perhaps he found her body when he went in and he is the one that called the police. Seems strange that his vehicle would be gone by the time the police got there though but it's still possible I guess.
