Marriage date to Mark was 11/8/2003 in pinellas co fl. Teresa was married prior to this marriage, she was Teresa Cousins

Her daughters are aged 8 and 11 btw. The pic of the family is an older one and the girls younger, wearing super hero costumes it seems. Just wanted to point that out.

Snip from the obit:" Dr. Sievers believed strongly in supporting local charities and giving back to her community. In 2008, she became directly involved with Our Mother's Home of Southwest Florida and teacher to teen mothers and their babies. She also worked with Wings of Shelter International in SW Florida and The Good Shepherds Ministry of Ft. Myers."

I would have thought that in lieu of flowers the family would have suggested that contributions could be made to one of the above charities. MOO

Your last sentence = BINGO!!!

Just curious if there was any more incoming flights that night and an early morning flight back out.

At first I thought it was odd she came back from vacation and the rest of her family stayed (even though it was a family event with HER family). But after thinking more, I don't. I'm close with my husband's family and if we went on a trip and he had to come back early, there wouldn't be anything nefarious if I stayed so the kid cousins could continue hanging out and playing.

I would think LE would already have checked into the possibility of what you are hinting at...I will say the same question entered my mind as well.

Both Dr Sievers and her husband worked at her practice, I assume full-time. The two girls are ages 8 and 11. Did they have a nanny or housekeeper? Was it a live-in nanny or housekeeper? If not, was the nanny or housekeeper married or in a relationship with someone who may had been in the house before? If there was no nanny or housekeeper, were the kids latch-key kids when they were not in school? That seems unlikely to me. JMO

True. I think it raises questions when the next day you already have an account up asking for a million dollars. It could be completely innocent but Id bet this is something that LE will dig into. Also she may have had a friend that no one knew about. It seems like it was someone that knew she returned home alone, knew they had alarms and where to disable them, a very very angry person to stand there yelling at her and the violence of the crime. This doesn't feel like a burglary to me. I think she knew her perp. And what are the odds with them being away that a burglar just picked that night to do this? jmo.

My guess is as Office Mgr and the functions that entails, he probably had the leeway to work at least partly at home

Couple of other things I wouldn't rule out. Someone stalking her. She was a beautiful woman. Maybe one of her patients got a crush on her. Or a patient that was angry with her because their treatments didn't work. Well, Im out of suspects. The thing that bugs me the most is the alarms didnt go off.

How many places havea you seen asking for money on the husband's behalf?

IIRC

1) the note on the practice door

2) the main crowd sourcing fundraiser

3) the other fund asking for education money for the girls

4) at least one local account at a local bank

This is someone who needs money.

Motive suggestion; Disgruntled ex-employee or husband of one?

I don't know what to think. Could have been a robbery gone bad or anything. Here's some info I found..As far as expenses go I' m sure there were med school bills too.

She was the primary family provider. Scroll down and everyone can see what it says...

"Dr. Sievers was the primary family provider. I ask you and anyone you know to donate what you are able to help her family deal with the financial burdens they will be faced with, including the education of her two young daughters who are only 11 and 8."

Her med school bills were her responsibility. Those cant be collected from a deceased person.
