How many patients, seriously, would she tell, "BTW, I'm leaving my family there and comming back a day early"?

I don't really know anything about my Dr. after yrs. Don't know if she's married, when she's going on vaca. I don't pry into her personal business and she doesn't make me get on the weight scale:happydance:

LOL

the only thing I know about my doctor after 25 years is that she has at least one daughter & that's only because I ran into her in a store

Add in Missed personal trainer visit on Monday:

"
The doctor was to meet her personal trainer, Jorgen Albrechton, last Monday but did not show up - so he called her and left a voicemail.

"Maybe she had an emergency, this and that, but I had never in my wildest imagination contemplated that she would have been killed," he said, adding that Sievers' death is a terrible loss. "We hope the future will tell us more."

The Sheriff said there are a lot of intricacies in this case. Could this mean more than 1 person involved. This is the direction that I am leaning toward.

I worked in a large doctors office with several doctors. Believe me, there are patients that would know when the doctor was out of town. If they call in for appointment, doctor unavailable. Even if the patient says, oh Dr can fit me in. No Dr is out of town. Especially in her practice, the very "homey" atmosphere, I bet many did know.

But this Dr office was different, remember? They served tea and had comfy cushions like a home. I bet some patient did know she was out of town.

No link yet: @leesheriff on Dr. Sievers murder in #BonitaSprings "I'm fairly comfortable saying it's not a random arbitrary situation." #swfl @winknews

The Sheriff also said there was "some connectivity". We know LEO took her van, the home computer and the side door to the home. It sounds as if LEO knows who the perp was since they found "some connectivity".

I'm perplexed over them taking her van into evidence. Perhaps it was parked at the airport while she was in CT. How does the van figure into the murder?

It wasn't a leather couch. It was just a soft couch. At my first appointment Dr. Sievers walked me back to one of the two small exam rooms ...showed me where to sit...and asked me if I would like a cup of tea. She went and made it herself and brought it back to me. It was the nicest thing I've ever had a Doctor do for me..I almost cried.

I am merely speculating, but maybe LE believes that the murderer was a "friend" of the doctor who may have been in the van shortly before the murder. She could have picked someone up on her way home from the airport, with the intention of the friend spending the night, and possibly an argument sometime during the late night, resulted in her death in the early morning hours. Or maybe they are processing the van to eliminate that possible scenario. All JMO.

Interesting, i had been assuming she was killed monday pre-dawn to morning. She may have been killed Sunday night...

I has assumed morning because of the neighbor statements... But they could be wrong/mistaken.

She probably was because one neighbor heard a woman scream and another hear a man yelling so predawn was most likely when it happened.

Awe. A possible scenario is that surveillance from the airport may have shown someone meeting her?

On Nancy Grace:

Dr. Sievers was cremated, which made Dr. Moroni suspicious - he said it's better to keep the body interred and postpone cremation in a case like this, although certain tissue samples, etc. would have been saved from the autopsy.

There was a four hour service for Dr. S. today and one of the daughters spoke.

The family van has been kept for analysis and Nancy mentioned both front door and side door of the home have been checked.

After hearing the Sheriff say this was not a random crime, and hearing Dr. S. has already been cremated, I am even more suspicious, and yet according to reports, Dr. S. had a good marriage. Something just doesn't feel right to me .....
