But didn't TSA say there was an active shooter? As far as Shep he has a tendency to minimize everything when sometimes it is true what is being said by witnesses.

Yes, it was TSA.

They tweeted this after Santiago was already in custody:

Never mind, I see he had a Florida Drivers License.

But the witness was right and the Senator was wrong. He didn't surrender. He was in the middle of trying to reload his gun when approached by officers. So he had plans to continue his murder spree.
.
He was apprehended by authorities when he stopped shooting to reload, witnesses said.

I think that I found his Facebook, but I will wait to post a link. If correct, I would be completely surprised if it's related to terrorism.
There are several people with the same name and from the same state. People are already blasting the site. He may not even be on FB, So I think you're smart in waiting.

This is a complete logistical nightmare now and I don't envy airport staff. There are passengers / persons not supposed to be airside who are all over the airport - runways, buildings, train tracks and so on. None of the grounded planes awaiting take-off will be allowed to until the areas have been cleared (or that'd be another tragedy).

I always get nervous that if there were any other gunman...that they could just try to blend in with the entire crowd and somehow get released.

Was he living in Alaska now? If so why come thousands of miles to hit this particular terminal. Is there a military base close by the airport?

There's a Navy base in West Palm and two Coast Guard bases in Miami.

Those would be the closest to that airport.

Could he have stolen the military ID to throw LE off as to who he is?

He was in baggage claim, anyone can waltz into a baggage claim area in any airport.

Pasenger on a Canadian flight with checked weapon got his bag from baggage, loaded it in the bathroom and came back out shooting people.

Listening to that too...He also said no LE officer has discharged a weapon. Hmm

Something is not adding up here

Despite some reports to the contrary, no other attacks took place in other parts of the airport, said Broward Sheriff Scott Israel.

“We have no evidence at this time that he was acting with anyone else,” Broward County Mayor Barbara Sharief said.
