Wow...I'm trying to figure out how crowded the court docket would be if all the inmates currently in Leon/ Wakulla jails are able to get their attorneys to file motions complaining about mattress thickness, skinny ear canals, fattening food, weight gain, loud inmates, lack of sleep, inmates/jail staff over hearing calls, canteen extortion for packets of noodles, etc. (I could list more, but I'm sure you'll get the drift.) I thought it sounded like an episode of "Get Me Out of Here, I'm A Celebrity."
Can't help but wonder about inmates with serious health issues, addiction/withdrawals, diabetes, mental illness struggles, young children, financially indigent, lacking emotional support from family members or spouses... These are the inmate issues that hurt my soul and make me struggle to hold back tears.
Betty Broderick's request for change of venue was denied in San Diego and I thought she had a much better arguments than DA.
DA pacing and "talking to herself" isn't an indicator of decline...I think she is rehearsing for how she will sound and respond to questions in court.

6/13/25 Update: Adelson & her defense team were in court Friday, trying to convince a judge to move her upcoming murder for hire trial out of Tallahassee, citing “extensive” media coverage spanning nearly 11 years. Testimony in Friday’s change of venue hearing lasted nearly three hours, concluding with Leon County Circuit Judge Stephen Everett saying a written ruling will be issued once he reviews all the exhibits that were admitted as part of the hearing. James Todd Murphy, President of Truescope North America, was the only witness called to testify during Friday’s hearing. He is considered an expert in media intelligence & analysis. The judge did not specify a timeline for the written ruling, though he also indicated he may try & pick a jury before deciding on whether or not to move the venue. Next pretrial hearing on 8/8/25. Since it has been established/claimed HA has "Power of Atty" for DA.....is he still POA for Charlie as well?
If money starts running low, and I imagine it can go pretty quick. It will be interesting who CA wants for his POA. Surely CA has realized it is time to start thinking about his future. (As odd at it seems. I have had elderly clients who worry about continued commissary funding or future housing for an incarcerated family member.) Does he try to make a deal with prosecutors in exchange for a future life at age 65? In the hierarchy of the Adelson family, surely CA has realized he is the low man on the totem pole now. HA shows up for DA's pretrial motions and complaints...but neither one of them ever showed up for CA in Tallahassee. (Hmmm?) DA has the blame game down pat. "I wrote the checks to KM because CA always made me prepare payroll and pay his bills." "I was getting on the plane because it was HA's idea" and I have never disagreed with my husband in over 50 years. If he says it has to be a non-extradition country, who am I to argue?
The Adelson family, through their attorneys, issued a statement categorically denying any involvement in Dan Markel's murder. This statement was made in August 2016, following speculation that the family was involved. (I guess it is ok to draw attention for themselves?)

ZZ IN THE HOUSE!! I always can count on you to clarify things I missed. (Forehead slap) Yeppers, CA can't claim he was being "extorted" by one murderous group and then also make claims about another person, ie a drug dealer killing DanM, too.
Did anyone remember CA , right after his conviction, telling his cousin MM, (paraphrase) "this room looks like a cell in Viet Nam, green and white walls."? And that he "should have taken more vacations"?? I always wondered if MM relayed that info to HA & DA.

Well if you think about it, it seems increasingly likely. The loyalty and love for one another was very fake and superficial. WA could not wait to throw CA under the bus, blurting his name out to the police at the first opportunity and then to Sara Yousef when SG and LR were arrested..

CA would be aware of this. I believe we are now at the "every man for himself" stage. And really CA is out of options. He has no defence. Even if he can somehow create another defence after his double extortion defence failed, it would not be believed. He has no credibility. You get one shot at telling the truth. You can't keep on conjuring up different stories until the jury finally believes you. Credibility is so important in court.

Ultimately he gave two hitmen $150k after they killed DanM and he has no valid reason for it other than he paid them to kill DanM. His only option to get a reduced sentence is to cooperate. One would like to think his lawyer is emphasising this to CA in no uncertain terms. And that's even if he gets another trial which is a virtual impossibility.

HA and DA side show continues. In a nutshell, DA apparently wrote "a script/story line" for a fellow
jail mate(DZB) to use as a guide for making up a story that would benefit DA's defense. In return
(quid pro quo? or thank you gift?) DZB was given a painting from HA. That's about all I can figure out from this latest video. G'night sweet Sleuths..... will see what y'all think in the morning.
