Flip on Wendi? Wasn't Wendi always the golden child, the child she loved more than the others? The one she did all of this for?
I think Chaarrrlie was the favorite but Wendi was her little mini-me.

Does anyone know what this was in reference to? Hope it doesn’t cause any problems or delay for her trial.

Chief judge reports Leon County Clerk Gwen Marshall to Florida Supreme Court: ‘Neglect of duty’

Two of Tallahassee’s most high-profile cases were also noted in the letter, though neither defendant was mentioned by name. The cases mentioned included suspected Florida State University campus shooter Phoenix Ikner and Donna Adelson, who’s accused in the murder for hire of her former son-in-law Dan Markel.
…….
In the case of Adelson, the chief judge said sensitive information sealed by the judge was “erroneously made publicly accessible by your staff” in two instances, including one which the information was accessed and shared on YouTube the same day.

When asked by Georgia Cappelman whether Wendi was the favorite, Charlie alluded that he’d hoped she liked him as well (or equal). The point is that Georgia seemed to know that Wendi was the favorite, and Charlie seemed to confirm it on the stand. I do think WA lived under her mother’s shadow. Was the seemingly “good” girl, who only pretended to be mom’s mini me.

I dont recall this pic of DA being posted from her Jul 11, 2025 hearing.

Donna Adelson appeared in court today on a motion to compel the state to turn over “raw” cellphone data & unredacted emails. Judge Stephen Everett granted it but warned about opening the door to conflicts of interest that derailed her trial last year on 1st day of jury selection.

A drama queen. She thinks that she can make these expressions and people won’t believe that she is the mastermind. Poor me.

She doesn't look emaciated in this photo. Looks like she's prospering in jail.

In anticipation of Donna Adelson acting the playwright master piece of her life on the stand, the State Attorneys have motioned for the defendant’s testimony transcripts, and the Judge ordered accordingly.

These transcripts will show that Donna Adelson’s attorneys argued in favor of her bail application:
  • Assault by jail mate resulting in shoulder pain
  • Extortion of commissaries by jail mates
  • Lack of opportunity for exercises (the Adelsons are avid tennis players)
  • Lack of proper medical expertise for her narrow ear canal care
  • One third of body weight gain due to carbohydrate based diet lacking protein and fresh fibers
Hence, “prospering” is rather subjective.

Excess weight gain is a sign of prosperity in minority slums of G7 economies and third world countries. Excess weight gain is a sign of decline due to poor diet, lack of exercises, and inadequate medical care for affluent people such as Donna Adelson.

She should have thought harder about missing that protein. Dan could have lived and she could have lived with her protein. I actually heard her when she voiced this list and it was comical. It was almost like a spoof.

Maybe she's hoping for the women's prison in Australia where Erin Patterson was sent. It has a tennis court and swimming pool.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Donna Adelson’s attorneys filed new arguments Monday night, arguing certain evidence should not be allowed in her murder trial.

Adelson’s lawyers are asking the judge to block prosecutors from using Adelson’s attempt to leave the country as evidence of guilt.

Prosecutors say her intent to travel to a non-extradition country shows consciousness of guilt, but defense attorneys claim she did not know there was a warrant for her arrest, and she would have otherwise been free to travel.

The judge previously rejected this request, and it is unclear if or when he’ll reconsider.

Innocent people flee when there are warrants out for their arrest. That is not consciousness of guilt. Consciousness of guilt is typically where there isn't a warrant, but the person knows themselves to be guilty and acts accordingly. It could be argued that it would be a normal reaction to flee when a warrant is issue irregardless of innocence or guilt.

Aside from her attempt to leave the country it was the minuatie around her flee attempt that raises suspicion. Asking people and googling which countries do not have extradition treaties to the US. Trying to get an emergency visa issued ASAP. One way flights. Moving money out of the country. etc etc Booking an international flight in itself was fine.

This is like some kind of black comedy, where the criminals are beyond dumb and that's where the laughs come from. They go from disaster to disaster...

If that were really true, why was she looking into non-extradition countries, stopping in another country, and booking a one-way ticket???

She wasn't free to travel, and they knew they wouldn't be able to arrest her if she fled, so that's why they picked her up at the airport. This was no innocent vacation trip. She didn't plan on returning. Innocent people DON'T flee! That's just not logical. This sounds just like Erin Patterson's "panic" defense. If you are innocent, you have zero reason to flee or panic. Mere accusation doesn't cut it.

Isn't this standard procedure, merely preserving these issues for appeal?
Yea, I have no problem with an attorney vigorously defending their client. Especially since the appeal record goes both ways. For one thing, it helps shield against an ineffective counsel claim. So, let the defense have at it. I don’t believe they will get anywhere with these motions.

I don't think you really understood my post.

Her attorney was arguing no warrant meant there was no consciousness of guilt. But I disagree with that statement.
