Yes, it will be interesting to see how Lauro prepares Wendi for questions about her personal beliefs of her family’s involvement since Charlie’s conviction and Donna's arrest both of which had not occurred since she was last on the hot seat. I am sure those questions will be anticipated.

I think Lauro is smart enough to know that at this stage an outright claim that she doesn’t believe that at least Charlie was involved will be foolish. I predict we will hear something where she doesn’t insist he wasn’t involved rather something like - ‘I’m not sure what to think… I am focused on my life and my boys etc.” After that statement if she is pressed, we will hear ~“under the guidance of my attorney, I am STILL not following the media reports or the details of the case”. If pressed again, she will repeat – “I’m not sure what to think anymore”. If Cappleman continues to press, Wendi will keep repeating the same phrase and the Judge will eventually say 'move on" Essentially ending in a stalemate.

As far as the Sara Yousuf statement, I know you place a lot of stock in that, but I don’t think it will be part of Donna’s trial. If it comes up, Wendi wont deny it. She will be prepared to say ~ “at that moment when I reached out to Sara all sorts of ideas were coming to my mind based on what the media was saying which is why my attorney advise me to stop following the media”.

On original arrest booking (from the airport) Nov. 13, 2023... 5'6'' and 112 lbs. On the latest return to Tally booking 08/14/2025 ...5'6" and 140 lbs.
28 lb gain in 22 months. As I state upthread, this has got to be tough for her. It could explain a few of the health issues, above and beyond the normal aches and pains of aging. (Still can't believe people can do such horrible things and not consider the consequences.)
Ugh, I was 112 lbs once....my original birth weight.

She was adamant about not having enough protein in the (her) prison system. She expressed her frustration about the meals being loaded with carbs. This, combined with no outdoor walking has contributed to her weight gain. I’m sure that her intestinal health has declined significantly.

I’ve made that same point before. We don’t know her typical call habits but most assume that morning it was a lot. No lie - it’s 11::00am on a Sat morning and at the time of this message, I already have well over 20 ‘events’ (texts and calls) back and forth to and from friends, family and my local mechanic - all from this AM. Combination of random messages, car ready for pickup, mom checking in, discussing Investments, discussing fantasy football league. I think I saw Wendi had 19 events. I have one text with friends that is 6 back and forth messages (6 events). The notion that she tried to be on the phone all morning as an alibi doesn’t make any sense to me. If there was a murder, I guess I’d be accused of having car work done as an alibi? .

No there are more than 19 events for WA. That was just her reaching out to others.

If someone wants to make the argument about the relevance of ‘who’ she called, that’s a different argument and worth analyzing e.g. – if she called Katie, it would be game over. The volume of text / call activity is irrelevant especially without knowing her normal call habits. We can only speculate – facts are that neither of us knows for sure and I can rattled off several theories that support both the case that Wendi knew and the case she didn’t know. I agree the call was important - it wasn’t just a random call Charlie made without a purpose – that we agree on.
