I think Wendi is coming off better this time -- less defensive. JMO.

She is using the “ I don't remember” excuse way to often so she doesn't perjure herself.

All these trials are wearing her down. This is like her fourth trial. LOL

DA appears to have had a pathological obsessive hatred toward DM. All consuming...JMOO

How does WA, an attorney that can't remember most questions asked of her, manage to represent anyone legally?

I'm no Wendi fan but unless you review the stuff before you testify, I don't think you're going to remember specific words from 10 years ago. But maybe that's just me. JMO.

Very true. But, how much of WA's complaining to her parents had a role. Seems WA depended on her mom to "fix" things for her.

Agree that WA fed that DA obsession

Interesting words used to describe DA? This one was an amazingly spot on descriptor, " Emotional subterfuge":
sub·ter·fuge
/ˈsəbtərˌfyo͞oj/

noun
  1. deceit used in order to achieve one's goal.
"he had to use subterfuge and bluff on many occasions"

She is claiming no memory of MAJOR ISSUES repeatedly to include issues she legally responded to, I'm not going for it. It's just her way of trying to escape perjuring herself. JMOO

Yeah, but she has been asked the same questions for the last 5+ years....and she has had discussions with only one Mother about her only murdered latex spouse. Of course it is something any normal human would want to forget....so I agree with you.
PS...Great to see ya' Clearskies!

Ok, I have not watched all of her testimony but I did see parts where she said she could not remember specific words that she was asked about. I understand your point. Great to see you too!

She’s very effective at playing someone with plausible deniability. And the length of time that has passed since DM was murdered aids in that.

So Wendi and the boys moved directly into the Continuum, not Coral Springs as previously believed. AND Wendi was added to the lease prior to the murder, but no big deal because they entered visitors' names on the leases??? Does that sound believable to you guys or did I mix it up?

ETA: I think @Knitpicker did extensive research on this topic

But I believe it was the first time he directly said it was Wendi that wanted DM killed:

“She continued with her questions, leading in a direction that seemed to try to implicate her client, Donna Adelson’s daughter, Wendi Adelson.

“The woman who wanted him killed was Wendi Adelson, correct?” she asked. Rivera said yes.

“It was she wanting her children, correct?” she asked. He said yes again.”
Nothing can convince me that Wendi didn't have some knowledge of Dan's murder. Now, the extent of her knowledge - what did she know and when did she know it - that's the million dollar question, isn't it? But the notion that her mother and brother planned the whole thing behind her back without giving her at least a heads-up is something I cannot believe.

What about the position that the defense is taking? Are they trying to imply it was WA and CA or are they just skimming through without focusing on CA and WA? It seems like DA is ok turning on them, put it on anybody but herself. I believe strongly that she was the master planner for eliminating DM.

It’s hard to believe a mother would do that but maybe she hadn’t really been a good mother all along. I can see that she is manipulative, bossy, selfish, and hateful. I wonder if CA and WA are subconsciously resentful of DA.
Don't forget that DA's oldest son, Robert, has called his mother "evil" and moved far, far away from her and her influence.

I agree that it's hard to imagine that Wendi had no knowledge of the murder plan before it was implemented. Whether she did or not is the million dollar question.

But there is an even larger question: Is there enough evidence that could be used to charge and convict Wendi of conspiring to have Danny murdered? So far I haven't see such evidence. When I think of it, it's amazing that Donna and Charlie could be the masterminds while managing to keep Wendi from ever being included in an incriminating email/conversation/phone call.

Yes, it's hard to believe that her family would have her ex husband executed without her blessing. I think she knew "something" was going to happen; she was just purposefully kept out of the loop regarding specific details. The drive by Trescott was a giveaway for me, and her explanations, I believe there were a few differing ones, for it never made sense.

No reaction from WA to DA's emotional expressions. Cold as ice.
She struck me as being cold as ice, even robot-like, when she testified at an earlier trial (KM'S?). Jeffrey Lacasse, her former boyfriend, also testified at that trial and he showed genuine emotion: distress, pain and maybe guilt because he didn't take Wendi's talk of a hit man seriously and warn DM. WA, on the other hand, showed no emotion whatsoever. She was talking about the death of her former husband, a man she (presumably) once loved, and the father of her children - and she might have been discussing the weather.
