Can't Facebook or LE get the IP address for the person who sent that message?

Yes, police will get an order for all social media & cell activity for all the girls & families involved. Usually ip now can be traced with results back in le hands by end of day. This might be a bigger case, though, bc a suicide is involved. Now this stuff with Katelyn's YouTube acct, wow.

Fwiw, I believe her. For a child to write that out and post it on the Internet with her face in video flipping the pages of her notebook - unreal - definitely believable.

I cannot stop crying. I'm gonna go eat a big plate of spaghetti with homemade gravy. I might even eat a couple meatballs & garlic sticks too. & just so everyone knows, this is not good to do at almost 9:30 pm! I'll have to exercise diligently if I'm gonna follow this thread, otherwise my January vacay will be ruined! I have a beautiful size 8 swimsuit that my hubby has no idea I bought...yet... Not anticipating our mailed statement. Thank the Lord he doesn't know how to view it online lol!

I've been saying since the arrest mugshots were published that I thought Katelyn was probably not the driving force behind the bullying. She looks like she hasn't slept in weeks in her mugshot. The other girl looks fresh and defiant.

Tricia Norman has retained attorney David Henry, the managing partner at Morgan & Morgan's Winter Haven office, the firm announced this week without naming potential defendants.

I'm one of them, too!

I have to allow certain periods of internet time because my Lil Knot's school uses Edmodo and her teachers require them to use it. So I trustingly allowed her laptop access to our wifi for short periods to check assignments and messages from her teachers. Usually her laptop is for typing up assignments only; no internet.

So in the 2 hours I allowed her access, she posted to her instagram account. Shocker. :facepalm:And I know this because I have my own IG account ONLY in order to monitor Lil Knot.

SO .... now my only control is to require her to now do her homework in the living room, under my watchful eye. Which means I cannot leave to make dinner or for any other reason.

If it were up to me, she would not be allowed internet access AT ALL. But it is mandatory at her school that they access Edmodo daily. :banghead:

Not that this excuses this horrific mom, but it just is so true how resourceful and downright SNEAKY kids can be!

Lol! I haven't heard sauce called "gravy" since I was married to my ex who is an Italian from Brooklyn (later, Patchouge).

I just came across this article and didn't see it posted here. It's from October 15th. Omg this has been going on for a very long time. My heart is heavy for Rebecca, so sad... Again, considering the dates and the drastic bullying, i have a feeling the elementary school will be penalized as well. The last snippet is very interesting to me, especially considering how popular ******* is with kids right now.

Ok, I didn't know that site was blocked from Websleuths. It's important to read the entire article that I just posted. I'm pulling data on that site in case mods eventually allow it. I'd like to know why they're not cooperating and why they allow so much bullying on their social site. We're talking kids ages 9 talking about sex, weed, alcohol, etc... Questions some kids can anonymously ask are sometimes extremely vulgar and dangerous as well. They should change their "rules" no matter what country they're located in. Pulling stats now.
