ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —Judge Belvin Perry has ordered another competency exam for Jason Rodriguez, the man accused in a deadly workplace shooting two years ago.

After the jury was dismissed Wednesday, Rodriguez' defense team expressed concern over his mental competency.

"There are certain things they've heard that raises in their minds renewed interest in his competency," said Perry.

An on-call psychologist will conduct the exam before the trial can move forward. The defense was expected to wrap up Thursday, but Perry's decision could delay that.

He is malingering and after the complete and utter BS that the good (albeit off rocker) dr claims he is paranoid schzo this does not in ANY way present as insane criminally insane or otherwise. In such cases, the prosecution usually does a rebuttal, putting up doctors stating he was not legally insane (knew right from wrong). This is probably the most difficult case to win.
