I sense atty is inexperienced and young. He allows the witness to talk too long restating the defense case

  • #344
One more, the Dr. Jeffery Danziger, physiatrist.

  • #345
Dr. Danziger. He's the one who didn't get to testify in a certain other case we all know well. Okay, how many shrinks does this make? I've lost count.

  • #346
good grief, is there no limit to the number of experts?

  • #347
Yay! Linda is doing the cross.

  • #348
Well, after that long delay, the objection was overruled and the state will be able to ask their question.

The jury has finally returned.

  • #349
Wonder if State will get in all the rebuttal tonight or if it will go into tomorrow.

  • #350
Next witness, Steven Rodriguez - the defendant's brother.

Edited to add - State's first rebuttal witness. (Thanks CarolinaMoon--I missed that.)

  • #351
Should never have allowed his bro to have the gun back because he wasn't having an episode. They must have known that these "episodes" could recur. They knew JR.

  • #352
Next witness Dennis Ahern - a Sgt. with the Orlando Police Department on the day of the shooting.

  • #353
The State has no more rebuttal. They approach the bench.

  • #354
Well, I guess that's all we are going to see today. My feed has transferred to the local news.

The jury will be back at 9:00am tomorrow. I'm guessing closing arguments will begin.

  • #355
I won't be here tomorrow for closings. What a short and sweet rebuttal. It will be fascinating to hear how the prosecution uses all those doctors' testimony to prove RJ is not legally insane.

  • #356
I fell asleep during that long break:blushing:

  • #357
My feed was down for a while, but it's back up again and the State is up with their closing argument.

  • #358
The Defense is up. The jury decided that they didn't want a break in between the two arguments.

  • #359
Ryan Williams for the state had a good argument--so far the defense has not.

  • #360
State is up next with their final 35 minutes of closing argument.
