A definite possibility especially if Jenn shopped regularly at one of these grocery stores. Wonder if Jenn stopped by the store to get some items after work on that Monday - she would have needed some perishables at least after coming back from the trip? Did LE find any receipts in her condo?:waitasec::waitasec: ooh! a double doodle!

I had seen that link SS you posted before, and when I saw the pdf I thought about your link and agree it looks something like that. But I think the poster was saying what if it was rolled like that, but it was really something like this rolled...

I think this is similar to what your saying

SS could be right on about the chef beanie but I think the odd look of the cap is because of the excess fabric of a knit cap might be rolled up like in your example here with the green background.
Most people wear a knit cap over the ears but in the suspects photo it looks like he gave it on more roll and created an odd look not typically seen.
It was January so it wouldn't be unusual to see a knit cap in FL.

One thing never talked about which I always considered was a big clue is her garbage found in the condo. What was in it? What did she have for dinner on Monday night?
Grocery store items or take out?

Good question... and I would think wearing a hat unusually like that.. would help towards identification...

I wish there was a specialist trying somethings like this and releasing possible composites BASED on them...

I believe this will help all of those that are newly looking at Jenn's case and is the latest posting on Jenn's website. Please pass on to all you know and continue to keep the awareness alive.
Thanks!
-The Search For Jennifer Kesse –
It has been more than 3 years since Jennifer’s Abduction, we understand that many visitors to this website are looking for more information about what happened to our daughter, Jennifer, from the beginning. We are very grateful to the local and national media for all the coverage that has been provided for Jennifer and to our search efforts - they have done a tremendous job. We cannot say enough about the support of residents in the Orlando/ Central Florida area and the volunteers who have come from all parts of our state and country, including tourists visiting the area who have donated their time to assist with our search efforts and continue to help us keep awareness for Jennifer high. And also to the incredible group of law enforcement officers and staff working daily trying to find the answers which will bring Jennifer home, where she belongs for the good or the bad – Jennifer needs to come home and for no ones sake more than her own. The heinous crime of Abduction is something no one should ever experience.

As means of re-capping Jennifer’s abduction - Jennifer, was reported missing when she failed to show up for work at Central Florida Investments, on the morning of Tuesday January 24th, 2006 in Orlando Fl. after a long weekend in St. Croix with her boyfriend and other friends (they Flew both ways, there was no cruise as some people think). For those of us close to Jennifer, we knew something was wrong immediately. If she was going to be late for work or a meeting she would call. In fact Jennifer had good routines she and her boyfriend (who lives hours away in south Florida and Jennifer in Orlando) called each other everyday while driving to work in the morning and would speak with each other every night before going to bed, having a long distance relationship, seeing each other on weekends and Holidays. On Monday, the morning of 1/23/06, Jennifer left her boyfriends home in south Florida and drove directly to work in Ocoee Fl, not going home first but directly to her work as she usually did when she stayed the weekend in south Florida. On the night of Monday January 23rd, Jennifer left work at approx 6pm, walking out of the building, where she worked with her boss and wishing each other a good evening and will meet again in the morning. That evening, Jennifer talked to her Father, Mother, Brother and later with some friends and her boyfriend by phone as usual and that was the last anyone has seen or heard from Jennifer – Telephone call to her boyfriend at 9:57 pm 1/23/06 – Monday night.

Jennifer and her boyfriend did not talk the morning of Tuesday, January 24th. Her boyfriend called Jennifer at work and was told she had not arrived yet. When she did not show up for work, her employer immediately called us, her family, to see if we knew where Jennifer was, we tried to reach her at her condo and on her cell phone and computer but attempts were unsuccessful. Police were notified and the journey into Jennifer’s personal Hell began. Reaction was quick, within 2 hours of not being at work - her disappearance was known and being acted on by family and police. Upon reaching Jennifer’s condominium by mid afternoon, we found it normal. Everything was clan and in place. She had obviously slept in her bed, taken a shower (wet towel and shower) and had a couple outfits on the bed she was choosing to wear. Her tracks seem to cease from when she left her condo for work usually around 7:30-7:45am each work day. By 4 pm, family and friends of Jennifer had fliers made and being distributed within the immediate area of her condominium located at Mosaic at Millenia condominiums next to the Mall at Meillenia, Orlando, Fl. and awareness has not stopped since.

On Thursday 1/26/06 at high noon, police were notified that Jennifer's car was abandoned in a condominium complex 1.2 miles down the same road from where she lived in The Huntington on the Green Condominiums at the corner of Texas and Americana Ave in Orlando, Fl.. Her car was parked by a Suspect (on video) who pulled into a visitors parking space waited 32 seconds to exit her car and walked away, never looking back. Please see the video of the Suspect on this website. There is a reward of up to $10,000 for the identification and/or whereabouts of the Suspect. Tips may be called into the Family Tipline at 407-722-2162 or Orlando Police at 321-235-5300. There were valuables left in Jennifer’s car, so police do not feel it was for robbery or carjacking, but for Jennifer, herself. Bloodhounds tracked a scent from where her car was found back to her condo complex losing the scent on Jennifer’s condo property. Thousands of tips have and CONTINUE to come in for which we are thankful for.

Jennifer is a strong, fun loving, career minded, responsible young woman. If she was running late to work she would have called which is why we all became concerned immediately. At no time had Jennifer shown signs of discontent with her life, relationships or work environment, quite the opposite in fact.

Jennifer’s case, even 3 years old now remains ACTIVE!!!! Extremely ACTIVE!!! The Orlando Police Department and all other agencies involved have been extremely professional, keeping us posted on a regular basis with honest and open lines of communication. We know they are doing everything in their power to help bring Jennifer home and so are we.

Please keep Jennifer in your thoughts and visit this website for updates and pass it on often to all you know – Awareness will find Jennifer. Please think about everyone you know - if you believe someone you know or suspect someone you may know or might be involved, please call Crimeline, 1-800-423-TIPS(8477) ($15,000 reward for information leading to Jennifer’s whereabouts) immediately and share that information it may be nothing or it may be the missing piece of information that will help bring Jennifer home . Thank you for caring, keeping Jennifer in the forefront of your minds and please never give up on her, someone knows something.

Joyce & Drew

Bumping for Jen in the hopes she will soon be found.

I'm a bit late on this I know but I just watched the 48 hours episode on Jennifer's site. I do think that the 'hat' on the POI is a rolled up ski mask or balaclava. It looks like there is excess material compared to a beanie etc.

I am going back to read the older threads on this case again. Might be a silly question but was Rob's meeting ever confirmed? I know they said his cell phone pinged in Ft Lauderdale but he could have left the phone there? Anyway, I'm sure this was checked out - I am just curious.

I believe it's confirmed he's at work... and he seems to have been thoroughly checked out and cleared.

Welcome to the case...hopefully fresh eyes will spot a fresh idea.

Yes, indeed...fresh eyes...

This case is one of the most baffling.
Unlike other cases where the victim is connected in one way or another to a high risk lifestyle, Jennifer Kesse's case makes us look twice in that bad things do happen to good people.

Any new imput is always welcomed.

I am a UCF grad, and recall the "bicycle" police most vividly. These civilian clothed cop wannabes would cruise the parking lots with their parking tickets most aggressively. I think Valencia Community College, which is off John Young Pkwy is the same way. Just a thought.

We always seem to hit a dead end in our discussions with this case.

It's troublesome.

What's more troubling to me is that a nice young lady went missing over three years ago and we still don't know what happened to her.

Well I was thinking more lately, and if the POI is wearing a helmet it had to have been a bike cop. Nobody wears helmets on bikes.

My Theory:
Jennifer Kesse is home two days after a vacation trip.
She is up, showered, ready to get dressed for work.
The doorbell rings. She goes to the door. She either has
a peephole or she asks who it is.
The answer satisfies her.
It is either a neighbor she knows, someone from
the construction site she trusted, the owner of
the condo renovation, one of her brother's friends or
someone dressed as a police officer OR
someone who says she must move her car
otherwise she will be blocked in by
delivery truck, cement mixer, etc.
The door is opened.
She is either immediately abducted
or allowed to dress in sweats and
is forced to her car.
Force is a gun or knife or a tazer.
She is forced to drive to a location
very close by.
Something bad happens.
She is either killed
or
she is captured for
sex trafficking.
Her car is returned two days
later, left very close to
her condo.
The person who left the car
is caught on security camera,
but the camera never catches
his/her face.
Will we see Jennifer K again?
I pray we do.
But, I doubt we will.

Jenn's car was parked the same day that she went missing- actually 12 noon that fateful Tuesday, Jan 24, 2006.
ETA-- dreamweaver- you are saying she was home two days after a vacation... she was only home one night- Mon 1/23/06.

Praying for answers...

There is now also a discussion forum on the www.findjenniferkesse.com website.

Hi, I’m new to posting here although I have been following this case for a while now and have read all the posts so far. I have to say what an intelligent bunch you are and I would like to join in with my thoughts if that would be ok?

I have a thought which I shall lay out here. I give credit to a poster and her husband a while back who worked out the earlier trip from HOTG to Mosaic before the attack rather than after. Sorry, I don’t remember your name, but I think it’s a brilliant idea.

I wonder if the perp rode a bike to the HOTG area early in the morning. Maybe he hid it in any of the wooded areas around HOTG. Then walked to Jenn’s condo, waited for her to come out on her way to work (in the stairwell or outside her apartment), then either pulled a weapon on her and forced her to her car, or gave her some sob story about how he’d had his bike stolen/damaged/lost/no money for bus and would she be kind enough to give him a lift back to his apartment (the sob story would mean she knew him to some degree). She takes him in her car to his apartment, he forces/invites her in and the crime is committed. He then drives her car back to HOTG, walks round the pool area and to wherever he has hidden his bike, thereby completing the line of scent from HOTG to Mosaic - this would account for maybe a bikers helmet as possibly seen in the video - and then he rides off into oblivion.

This would account for the dog tracking the scent from HOTG to Mosaic, but instead of after dumping the car it was before the attack. The scent would join up from bike drop-off in the early morning to leaving car at noon. I’m not sure if the dogs could distinguish times of scents.

Later on, of course, when the coast is clear, maybe after dark, he disposes of body. (sorry, I hate saying that).

This scenario would mean he lives or was living/staying very near to Mosaic. Also, it would mean it was a premeditated crime and he had probably been stalking her for a while.

Thank you x

UCF:
I stand corrected. The car was parked at about 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2006. The car was discovered on Jan. 26, 2006 slightly over a mile from her condominium.
http://www.jenniferkesse.com/ Joyce and Drew Kesse's updated letter mentions this.

And she was at home the night of 1/23/06, then disappeared, from all accounts, the morning of 1/24/06.
She did go to work 1/23/06, but drove from her boy friends house straight to work.

The car was parked at noon.
The timestamp was an hour off due to daylight savings time.

Thank you for your discussion in this case.

I followed this case in the past and came back for updates. When I watched the 48 hours video on Jenn's site and looked at the POI photos again, these were some thoughts:

--Could be the angle, but the POI looks awkward (arm positions) and not well-coordinated.

--From the parking lot, or even the woods, a person could see her apartment, see if the lights were on, see if she was sun bathing (IIRC she liked to do that on a balcony? I could be wrong) Depending on the drapes she used (light mesh or heavy fabric) a person might even have been able to see movement in the apartment.

--She and her boss worked together until 6PM her first day back. I read this on her website. This may be way out of line, but you've gotta wonder if the boss's personal partner had some jealousy? (I don't even know if the boss was married.)

--Her boss seemed to call her emergency contact number pretty darn quickly the next morning. To me, that seems unusual. I think it was discussed years ago that many of us would be mortified if our bosses got our personnel files out and called our parents if we were late to work!

--The LE work seemed to be the fastest and the best I've heard about!

--Itinerant workers living in the building (and no complete or accurate contractor logs kept) is one of the most frightening things to me.
