LaMer and BobbisAngel......I think we can keep our hopes up. You know how sometimes a "fresh" look with "new" people can recharge things.
Even though these detectives sound wonderful, and committed........
Maybe new ideas, and new ways to go about sleuthing, will be an asset.
No one can put Jennifer on a back shelf somewhere.......she is too important to this world. Lets keep praying for answers.......and lets
be strong with our hearts that she will come home.
Chins up now......

Somehow, Someway.....Jenn will be found.

Hi guys!

One thing I remember from the article, Browning and Gause, or at least one of them, not sure, were still going to work on 'cold cases'. So it does sound as if they will still be around. Yep, keeping my chin up, we can't give up HOPE! :) There is always HOPE, the perps cannot take that away. :)

After six months investigation resulting in the case not advancing one inch you would have to think fresh eyes and ideas are sorely needed.

As far as I'm aware there is no more known now than there was back in early March.

They must not have gotten any evidence from Jennifer's car...fingerprints or anything like that. If they did they must not have been able to match them.
I will be surprised if Jennifer is ever found.

I know Bobbi......sad about that fact.......I hate when a case is at a standstill. That someone so vibrant can go missing off the face of the earth. All we can hope for is that they have good clues they are keeping hush..........

Questions about the Jennifer Kesse mystery but very few answers.

When a person vanishes the way Jennifer Kesse did it can be assumed it was an abduction/murder. Because the victim had a good job, had just purchased a new condo, was of a stable character and had a boyfriend of twelve months standing it is highly unlikely they are a runaway.
So, who would want to abduct Jennifer Kesse?

A disgruntled and jealous former boyfriend?

A registered sex offender living in the area?

A construction worker from the Mosaic site who took advantage of an opportunity?

Someone who had been stalking Jennifer; possibly without her being aware of the fact?

The lack of evidence indicates this was a planned crime. None of Jennifer’s belongings have been found including her purse or cell phone. As far as we know there are no other items such as a shoe or watch that have been found either. Neither does there appear to have been any blood found that might have come from a flesh wound.

Unplanned crimes can be messy affairs with a good deal of evidence at the crime scene.

Assuming it was a planned abduction was it a stranger abduction where Jennifer was taken by surprise or was it someone she new and therefore her guard was down?

Moving on to Jennifer’s car, why was it left at Huntingdon On The Green apartments? It is 99.99999% certain the POI captured on the security camera was the one who drove her car to HOTG and parked it there.

Why was the POI driving her car and is the POI in fact the perpetrator?

Was the car dropped at HOTG because the POI was familiar with the area? Did the POI once live there?

What evidence was gathered from the car? Since a human being sheds hair and flakes of skin wherever they go there must have been some of these gathered from the car. Did the POI wear gloves or were fingerprints lifted from the car too?

A bloodhound named Bo tracked a scent from the car at HOTG back to the stairwell leading to Jennifer’s condo at Mosaic. However the efforts of the tracking dog have been discounted because it is claimed it wasn’t tracking.

If the dog wasn’t tracking then how come it wound up back at Mosaic? The dog could have gone anywhere but it went to the stairs leading to Jennifer’s condo.

As soon as the photos were discovered the police said they wanted to talk to the POI and little wonder because the POI holds the answers we seek.

Where is the POI? It seems the POI has vanished just like the unfortunate Jennifer Kesse.

Myserty64, I realize you are asking questions and I agree with you when you asked, "is the POI in fact the perpetrator?" IIRC, this has never been established.

Where did you find the info you posted, "it is 99.99999% certain the POI captured on the security camera was the one who drove her car to the HOTG and parked it there."

Website disputes still rages on:

See Announcement section "It has finally happened"

On a lighter note (or maybe not) maybe we should re-consider some of the serious concerns Christopher Marlowe raised during the first few weeks after Jennifer's dissappearance. I have all of his POLLS listed in one place at http://orlandosleuths.com/forum in one section.

Right from the time the video photos were released the police were very interested in the POI. They even suggested that they knew the car was dropped at HOTG at about the same time the POI was captured by the security camera.

Don’t forget there was another camera overlooking the parking lot where Jennifer’s car was dropped.

Someone who was involved in the early searches for Jennifer told me they were asked specifically to look for a set of keys. One can only assume the POI took the car keys with him (I believe the POI is a male) and the question is who did he give the keys to? Or did he just throw them into a dumpster or into some water?

For a dumped car the Chevy was certainly parked in a very correct manner. From the photo’s I saw it was correctly aligned in the parking area and all the windows were up. I would be interested to know if the car doors were actually locked.

I have seen a few dumped cars over the years and often they are parked askew with windows down and a door ajar.

If the POI isn’t the perpetrator then who is he? Why didn’t he come forward after all the publicity with the release of the photos?

The lady rolled out of her new Dodge Charger when they said they would have to kill her. She was all scraped up because the car was still moving.

You don't understand these criminals are in their 20's and younger!
All the media outlets called her car a Dodge Ram Charger (no such thing). All media outlets including national media get all of their news from the ORLANDO SENTINEL.

Orlando Sentinel is the dominant media source for all news in Central Florida.

It might be a good idea for a reward be offered for the finding of the keys. If they were described, its possible they are sitting in a lost and found box someplace.

Myserty, I also remember it that way. I also remember reports which were indicating Jennifer's car might have been viewed from other tapes, ones from local businesses. Every report seemed to be inconclusive, vague, suggestive, but never saying absolute.

I also have on file, an article by MSNBC, Dateline, which I truly wonder about it's meaning.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12756094/

Excerpt-

Joyce Kesse: We feel that she got ready to go to work. She left. She locked her door and at that point is where the mystery starts.

But police say the mystery may have started even earlier.

Sgt. Rich Ring: It is as close to a vanishing as as I’ve ever seen.

Orlando Police Sgt. Rich Ring says Jennifer called her boyfriend in Fort Lauderdale at 10 p.m. January 23rd, the night before she was reported missing.

Sgt. Ring: The trail ended at ten o’clock—the night that she disappeared.

Magnus: And she’s just off the radar after that?

Sgt. Ring: Yes she is.

Did she get in her car and go out after that phone call?

Doubtful, her parents say... but police say it’s possible.

A friend of her brother’s from out of town had left his cell phone at her condo and asked that she ship it to him.

Sgt. Ring: We believe that there’s a possibility that she may have been out trying to find some type of means to ship this telephone to her brother’s friend.

All of which leaves a huge chunk of time during which jennifer may have gone missing.

Her boyfriend and family were immediately ruled out as suspects. And police quickly focused on the many day laborers who were working at her condominium.

Jennifer’s family said she’d been uneasy about that, but no suspect emerged.

The first big break in the case came two days after Jennifer disappeared. Her black Chevy Malibu was found in a parking lot, just about a mile from her condominium. A resident of these apartment buildings had seen the news reports and contacted police. And when investigators arrived, they got an even bigger break. On top of the pool house behind me, there were security cameras... and they were rolling.

Sgt. Ring: We had actually captured a time when the car was dropped off at a particular apartment complex.

Dropped off by someone other than Jennifer Kesse. Police haven’t said who—nor released that particular footage—but they have released something else: 3 frames of video of someone walking in the parking lot near Jennifer’s car—at around the same time it was dumped.

But the big break also turned into a huge frustration for police.

Sgt. Rich: We immediately saw that there were some things that worked against us—the environment that the person was walking in. There was some posts that obstructed our clear view of the person’s face.

The person without a face is for police, a “person of interest” and the main focus of the investigation.

But despite enhancements to the photo by the FBI police can’t say for sure if it’s a man or a woman... all they knows is his or her height: between 5’3” and 5’5 inches tall.

----------------------------------------------------

Sargent Rich, only reports here, about the POI from the footage! IF--- the other camera was working, what did they capture? If it was an important clue, why not release the info?

Sargent Rich claims, they have the time the car was dropped off. I also tend to think, the Kesses believe Jenn disappeared when leaving for work, but I understand from what Rich has to say, LE might be thinking Jenn was abducted during the early AM hours.

From re-reading and rereading, I am thinking LE might have the theory, Jenn was abducted during the night, and someone was observed driving her car much later, as in around noon the next day when left at HOTG.

If this was the case, the perp was taking a hugh chance of being caught. IF it was the Perp driving Jenn's car.

Thoughts? or am I really confused?  Well, it would be GOOD for us to review!

NOTE: I swear, I read an article, which stated, the second camera was not working. Only read it one time. Do you suppose, it wasn't working, LE had a fit over the article, and made sure it wasn't reported in the media ever again. Thinking, it would be better if the Perp thought, he was captured on the video. Doesn't make sense to me, if there was something, so BIG caught on the video, it wouldn't have been reported, or used to help find Jennifer. A picture of a 'faceless man' has done nothing.

Call me frustrated.

BeyondBelief, that is a great idea! Call it in! Or let someone in charge know of your idea. :)

In the current trial on CTTV, the prosecutor is suppose to have discovered the defendant's fingerprint on a parking ticket. I haven't paid much attention to the trial, and have only heard some bits and pieces.

This statement really bothered me:

Sgt. Rich Ring: It is as close to a vanishing as as I’ve ever seen.

It bothered me because it indicates LE had practically nothing to work with from the get-go. It probably explains why the case is unsolved. Lets face it; a young lady vanishes into thin air and there is no evidence and no witnesses and no apparent motive. This is not an easy case to put it mildly.
I have a little more info that I'll post later.

BTW thanks for the information LaMer.

It sure is a puzzle isn't it. I don't wonder why the POI hasn't come forward and identified him/her self. It's probably because they don't even recognize themself. If it was someone just cutting through the parking lot or where ever that was and they weren't involved and didn't pay any attention to someone parking a black car they wouldn't have any reason to report to LE. It could even be some young person who hasn't even followed this case or doesn't watch the news or Nancy, Greta, Rita or Catherine Crier. I sure couldn't have identified the POI even if it was someone that I knew.

I think it was a worker at the complex who had gotten a thing for Jennifer. Someone that saw her everyday when he worked and probably did some work in her condo when she was there. He would know her pattern and what time she left for work and got home. She had been on vacation and so he hadn't seen her for a week or two. She goes straight to work on Monday and on Tues morn he is waiting for her. He could live somewhere not to far from her condo and have made her drive there. He could have left her there gagged and tied up until he got home from work. He drives her car to the apt parking lot and high tails it back to the complex and goes to work. If questioned he could always say he had to go get some materials or whatever. Those guys can be several places throughout the day. He didn't have to be gone long after he grabbed her. He didn't use much gas so we know he didn't go far. After work he would go back home and do whatever he did.

After all of this time I don't think that Jennifer is still alive. She could have been held for however long but most kidnappers don't hold adults for weeks and months. It is to risky. Maybe if he lived back in the hills somewhere where there aren't people always around but not in a big city.

If LE has any evidence at all they are keeping it to themselves as they should. Some people seem to think that they should make a full report to us as the investigation goes on but in reality they don't even tell familys everything so I doubt that they are going to inform the public. I don't care if they ever tell the public another thing as long as they are keeping this case active and are looking for Jennifer. Her family need an end to this and Jennifer deserves justice as do her parents and brother. It's just a shame that this happened to a young lady with a bright future ahead of her.

You are very 'Welcome',Myserty! :)

I am also of the opinion, LE has practically nothing, but have made some statements, to lead us to think otherwise. Scant too, for the most part.

"I have a little more info that I'll post later."

Hmmm waiting on bended ear here, Myserty, do come back! It was very interesting about the keys, what more do you have?

WKMG - Local6 Newscast Today - Tues., Sept. 26th

There was some film footage of the Kesse parents speaking about a new tactic they are embarking upon.

Apparently, Crimeline has has some success with something called "Cold Case Cards". They are playing cards (poker, gin, bridge) that both Polk County & Hillsborough County have utilized and gotton good results. One county had cards made up with pictures of wanted criminals & pertinent info of their crime. The other county had photos of murder victims and a synopsis of the crime perpetrated against them.

These unique sets of playing cards are then distributed in the county's local jails, prisons & correctional facilities. Perhaps - distributed in several local counties.. Anyway, several cases have been solved by this method - and 3 cases in Polk County are now before the Grand Jury - thanks to info from inmate informants.

The Kesses in connection with Orlando's Crimeline Program are having cards made up with Jennifer's photos and all the necessary info and phone numbers. They said they are still hopeful - even after 32 weeks of Jenn being missing. Drew said Jenn deserves to be found and brought home.

As might be expected - Joyce Kesse looked drained. I sure hope these 'cold case cards' work and produce the break so needed by LE & the Kesses.

Perhaps Local6.com will have further info on this story later this evening. I was in the middle of preparing dinner and this was all I could remember from the newscast.

God Bless this family...
