….15 months ago Jennifer's life and the lives of the many who know her changed forever. Time does not heal all wounds. Time does stand still, but yet it also flies by at an alarming pace. We will never get over Jennifer being stolen from us, but we will get through it, somehow…someway .….with the love and support of family, friends, co-workers, colleagues, neighbors, volunteers and the many caring people that pray for her on a daily basis. United with the help and support of the many law enforcement professionals, the firemen, bail bondsmen and the countless others who have in someway worked on and/or continue to be part of her investigation, we will find the answers that we all so desperately crave.

Faith, hope and the belief that right will win out, we expect Jennifer's miracle, or the answers to the abduction……

Trying as this might be for all of us, we must remember that this is about what happened to Jennifer Kesse. It is not about anyone but her and what happened…..Any little thing that one can remember, please call the Orlando Police or Crimeline let them decide if it's relevant or not.

Focus on the person of interest, time and time again, we stress that if you knew this person….you would recognize them even without their face being visible. Study the picture…who do you know that walks in that area of Texas & Americana in Orlando? There is a lot of pedestrian traffic in that area. The Winn Dixie Shopping Center is always busy. Of importance is the fact, think back, do you recall seeing someone driving a 4 door Black Malibu Classic 2004? Someone who maybe doesn't own a car, only drove it briefly and then it was dropped off in the visitor parking lot at the Huntington on the Green Condominium Complex a mere mile or so from Jennifer's condo (at the Mosaic at Millenia on Conroy Road) at around noon on that Tuesday, January 24, 2006??? Does anyone recall passing by the entrance to Mosaic at Millenia at morning rush hour and think, remember did a black car pull out of the complex perhaps driving erratically? Perhaps not. We urge you to please look at the picture of her car, the person of interest. For those living in the Huntington on the Green Condominium complex where her car was found, please, think back, what do you remember, Jennifer's car was parked there for approx. 44 hours before a resident of the complex called to report it. The person of interest is between 5'3" and 5'5" tall - someone small in stature.

People talk, if you have knowledge of any circumstances surrounding Jennifer's case, please don't be afraid, do the right thing, make the call now. Contact a lawyer, member of the clergy, the police, a fireman, a member of the media and share what you know. There is reward money for the person of interest, as well as for information regarding Jennifer's case. You can remain anonymous and would be giving a heartbroken family the chance for answers.

If only LE knew the answer to that. I have always thought she isn't too far away from her condo at Mosaic.
I hope it wasn't a dumpster because if that's the case nothing will ever be found.
There is a lot of water in the area too.

Remember, it was two days before any investigation got underway.

Actually, there has been some rare cases where they have searched landfills and found a body but it's extremely cumbersome and you have to be lucky. I heard one case on the news a few years ago and I think it was in New York state.

Of course in this case I'm assuming it's much too late since what landfill keeps waste from over a year ago?

Because it's Florida you have to consider the horrible possibility that she was fed to gators since other perpetrators in Florida have tried to do that.

New video in Jennifer Kesse case

Police release surveillance video showing a "person of interest"

Orlando police today for the first time identified a mysterious person previously shown in surveillance video as the suspect in the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse almost 16 months ago.

The suspect in video released this afternoon is shown parking Kesse's car next to a pool at an apartment complex not far from Kesse's condo near the Mall at Millenia. The suspect is the same person identified in other surveillance video as "a person of interest" shown widely not long after her disappearance.

Until today, however, police did not release the fact that a person shown walking along a street not far from where Kesse car was found was the same person who parked her car at the complex.

Also Thursday, the reward in the case was increased from $250,000 to $1 million for Jennifer's safe return.

The video shows Jennifer Kesse's black Chevy Malibu driving into the Huntington on the Green condos around noon on the very day the 24-year-old failed to show up to work. The driver meticulously parks the car, even adjusting his parking before leaving the car. He walks all the way around the pool and then he was captured on surveillance snapshots from a different camera.

I saw Jennifer's parents on Greta tonight and I hope that the reward money and the new information released by the police leads someone to come forward. I did hear Drew Kesse say that the $1 million reward is good through July 4 and is for her safe return. I'm praying!!

Great News"

I caught Greta tonight and was able to tape the show. I just started watching the tape, over and over again.

It has been what I have said from day one. LE does have evidence which proves that the person who parked JK's car is the same person who walked past that camera. It was just logical reasoning.


Like I said, I have a copy of Greta. I noticed the following about the video.

The car goes by the second camera which is focused on the pool, and the driveway where the car is parked.

I noticed the time on the camera appears to be 12:56 or so. Then, he starts to walk around the pool at 12:59 or so. So, there is three minutes missing.

did the SUSPECT wipe down the car during this period of time?

LE did not release the video of the person who supposedly pulled in, then backed up, and then pulled in again.


Ya know, we all figured this out last summer.

Why didn't LE just say, Hey, we know this guy may be involved, rather than a person of interest.

Barbara JOnes said this is standard, and they were hoping the POI would admit to walking past the pool, and then that LE would prove he also parked the car.

I hate to pat myself on the back, but, that is exactly what I said about this case. I also said that LE must have video of the POI parking that car. Otherwise, how would they know he was a person of interest?

Anyway, this is good news. I'm glad that LE is not letting this case simply go by the wayside.

These past months, we have speculated, and we were right about the POI being on film parking that car. I don't understand why LE would wait over one year to release this information.

Now, that LE had admitted to what we speculated here since last summer, let's get this dirtbag off the street.

I asked a few months ago for LE to release more information, to release the proof the POI parked the car, etc. Thanks for releasing the information. Like I said, why not show your hand, and see what happens.

Plus, LE still hasn't released the video of the car actually being parked. So, they are still holding back some information, which is fine. But, at least now people may call in this dirtbag now that they know he is the one who parked JK's car and not somebody just walking by.

I'll analyze the tape more and add. I am just happy this case is moving forward.

You all know what I want next, but, I won't mention it, because nobody wants to hear it anymore

Also, ORlando PD is going over the list of names called in to make certain they didn't miss someone the first time. Another idea mentioned here.

ORlando PD is also using new detectives, hoping "new" eyes will get a different look. yet another idea mentioned on websleuths.

Studied the video again.

I noticed it appears that JK's front left headlight is on. Does anyone know if the 2004 Malibu has a function that automatically turns on the headlights, regardless of whether it is day or night?

Also, there are weird shadows around the pool. Why is the video so dark?

You know where I am going. Dark video, headlight on car, nobody at pool area, no witnesses, weird shadows at pool area which appear from the north. Plus, the POI appears bright on the video since he is wearing light colored clothing. Maybe it was enhanced, but...

Another thing we have gleaned, it doesn't appear the "suspect" is running. He appears to be walking.

Also, I think the three minutes between when the car enters and he starts walking toward the pool fence is crucial.

Why three minutes? Makes me think this clown wiped down the car. I still think we are looking at someone who has done this before, and is older rather than younger, possibly 25-35, would be my guess.

I can't imagine how somebody could harm another human being.

I sure hope JK is alive, and my thoughts are with the Kesse's and let the Kesse's know they are not alone, and we are not going to tolerate somebody preying on others.

Thanks again ORlando PD for changing your tune, releasing more information, and getting new detectives on this case. I still think the perp.'s name has been called in, but was overlooked. at least, that is my opinion.

I still think we should leave open the window of 10pm - 8am on this case.

ps Anybody who thinks that JK's car was sold last year is probably wrong. I can't imagine a police department releasing a car that they know a potential you know what was driving. I'll bet that car is still in evidence, and if it isn't, I would be shocked and disappointed.

Well as we all suspected the poi was a poi because they knew he parked the car.

Also it now makes sense that the Kesse's appealed for the poi to come forward before its too late.

They were trying to tempt the poi forward thinking they had only the one shot of him and then trap him.

Im sure the Kesses would have been privvy to this information prior to yesterday.

Left I can't work out your loss of time from the video I watched it says 12:59 through to 13:00 am I missing something?

This is good that they have released more information however I also feel despondant as I feel it shows LE have exhausted all possibilities.

This was their trump card they held back and the strategy was to get the poi and nail them.

This hasn't worked so now they are showing their hand as there is little else to do.

On the positive side you never know if someone believes they know the poi but don't believe they were involved so haven't come forward.

No we know for sure they are involved in some way.

You never know the poi may have confessed to someone that it was them in the picture but they had nothing to do with JKs dissappearance but didnt want to come forward for fear of having the crime pinned on the or they are wanted for something else/illegal alien.

Obviously I'm being very hopeful!

Left if there are missing minutes then perhaps like you say the poi has wiped the car down and moved the seat back?????

Remember the seat being moved back suggesting someone taller than Jennifer at 5ft 8 yet the the poi is estimated at 5ft 3 - 5.
(I know you take issue with this estimate)

I see your still banging the drum about it being at night you could well be right, it might be worth suggesting your theory to orlando PD.

Who knows they may not have considerered this?

They did say the clock was out for daylight saving but who knows it might have been out for daylight saving and 12 hours the wrong way too.

I have set my VCR in the past at say 4:00 when it should be 16:00

Based on the quality of the pictures I dont think they are the newest cameras in the world!!

The video shown of Greta is different than on the web.

It appears the car enters the lot at about 12:56. I could have read it wrong. But, I think I got it right. It apears he walks at 12:59, and then the other clock say 13:00.28 or so, right?

So, you are correct, the clock would have to be off 12 hours. My mistake.

You know how you get a "gut" feeling. I know there is a 99% chance it happened at noon, but there are some odd things, like the dark video, weird shadows, no witnesses, and of course crooks like the dark, not the daytime.

did you notice Jk's headlights? Again, maybe the malibu always has the lights on. It is common on some cars for safety.

I'm just happy that Orlando PD has an open mind. Too many police officers/fbi don't try new things, and keep sticking with the same strategy.

It is weird to watch that video. How cold could someone be?

BTW. this clinches my theory as far as I am concerned. I always thought the POI was the perp, he acted alone, he dumped the car, and walked back to HOTG or to his car or home. SExual crimes, as this one appears, are usually done by a single perp.

A lot of people knew about this video and it's content from when the POI pictures were released.
However for some weird reason to mention it in 'public' was not the the right thing to do.
I must say the quality is far worse than I imagined it would be.

I hope the 'new eyes' are cold case detectives.

I heard a reporter say on TV 'the POI is the one and only suspect.'

I have now leaned toward the suspect being a known sex offender who lived in the area. I believe Jennifer is in the area too.

I wonder if the investigators are holding back other video pictures from different cameras?
They have to hold back some information for interviews and for helping to confirm that anyone they may arrest is the actual perpetrator.

At least Huntington had some cameras which is a lot more than Mosaic had at the time of the abduction.

I agree with left that it is wierd watching the video. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up because I got the uneasy feeling I was watching a killer not long after the crime.
There were homicide detectives assigned to the case from the get go so I think the police knew what they were dealing with. Sadly.

LE has video of the "suspect" parking the car, backing up, and then pulling into the spot, according to Barbara JOnes.

this was not included in the spot I watched. Has anyone else seen it?

I can see why LE used the photo of the dirtbag walking past the gate. It is the best picture of him.

I agree with some of their strategy, however, after about one month, I would have released the video. If he didn't come forward in one month, he isn't going to bite and come forward at all. He is obviously a repeat criminal, and not someone who only did this once. IMO

Here's my point

Why does the POI stick out in white while walking around the pool. If it is truly light out, doesn't everything appear light?

The POI being tracked around that pool is just odd, that his clothes would show up so obviously in a dark background. Why?

Plus, remember, how we debated in the original pictures were truly dark, and that LE had brightened them?

Another argument. Look at the photos of JK's car on the website. It is obviously daytime. Sure, the video is poor, but it just doesn't look like daytime to me.

Am I being stubborn or tunnel visioned? Please give me your honest opinion?

I had not seen that shot of the guy getting out of the car. It was grainy, but, wow.

Yes, if you read between the lines, it appears the Kesse's had to "beg" the police department to release that video.

I am impressed that local media kept the video evidence to themselves for one year. In the last few days, I have lost faith in media, but, I am now starting to respect the Orlando media for listening to Police request.

I do agree with the Kesse's, the chances of finding Jennifer just were increased by at least 100% .

Plus, now Rob can be fully eliminated, and nobody can say JK ran away, etc.

I must note, not one of us thought it was Rob, or that JK ran away. We all suspected foul play.

this video also explains why homicide investigators were assigned right away.

I still don't agree with LE for not sealing JK's condo. It could have been a crime scene, who knows?
