I do think that the person who moved the car is not necessarily the person who abducted Jenn necessarily, but that he/she has some sort of knowledge about Jenn's abduction. I feel it was someone who was threatened or paid off to move the car.

SO many thoughts and theories over the last 35 months... and definitely open to all that everyone else has to say.

As matter of fact, since you indicated you are open to all everyone else has to say (thanks!) I just wanted to mention here that I PMed you some of my ramblings about JK earlier today (if you haven't checked your PMs yet)

One way or another and at some time or another Jennifer's car got from Mosaic to Huntington on the Green apartments.The question is was it driven straight there or did it get there via the real crime scene?
If it went straight to HOTG it could have left Mosaic as late as 11.50am or even a couple of minutes later.
If the car left at the time of the abduction it could have left Mosaic before 8am.
I'm only guessing but I tend to think the car left Mosaic just before noon. In the back of my mind is the fact the fuel guage was about where it should have been after Jennifer's drive back from Fort Lauderdale.

Now, using Google Earth street view I have 'driven' from Mosiac to HOTG.
Even using that it takes only a few clicks of the mouse. The car got there in no time at all.
The walk back is very open. Around HOTG it is very open.
Someone had to have noticed the suspect walking back to Mosaic.

Put it this way. If there was an abduction near where I lived and the suspect was 'out and about' whilst I was driving in the area I would say to myself 'hey I saw a guy walking down Conroy/Americana.'

Whoever saw the POI hasn't even been tempted by reward money?
Why?
Not all the motorists driving by at around noon lived in the immediate area.

Also there are most likely cameras at the first intersection and maybe even the HOTG intersection too. Does LE have any pictures of the car being driven to HOTG?

Back at square one it would be nice to know just what Jennifer's car did that morning.

For those that don't live in Orlando try the Google drive from Mosaic to HOTG. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Further to my post. If a motorist didn't notice the suspect walking back to Mosaic they would have to be as blind as a bat.
And if you drove by as he was walking past Mosiac to get to the side fence you could have just about reached out and touched him.

If the dog hadn't tracked him I would be wondering if he walked back at all.

They released the photos 12 days later... and they're not very clear from the standpoint of someone who is just an average citizen (not with the obvious interest that we all have in these cases) I'm not sure it'd be enough to jog their mind.

Also, they did follow leads on the POI. There was also the confusion about the color of the clothing looking different on tape than it was actually. That could have really hurt.

School was in session and because of the foot traffic I've observed in that area I don't think anyone would have paid any attention to someone walking down the road.
At that point no one knew she was missing.

I personally don't think the person that abducted Jen was ever in her car.

I do think that person told the suspect in the video to get rid of the car and he parked it at the furtherest point he could walk back quickly.

Which leads me to wonder why he didn't just go across the road to the mall and park it there or at the next insection where the shopping center is located. It was noon. The parking lots were loaded with cars.
He passed several large parking areas to get to the Green apartments.
Deliberate act to put the car in a known crime area?
Was it someone she knew personally and they were distancing themselves from her immediate area to make it look like a worker at the condo was involved and possibly lived in the low income HOTG complex?

But, does that mean two people in her "circle" were involved...

Interesting though (following that scenario) that the person didn't turn on the perp for the reward money that was quite high at one time.

Frightening encounter with apparent workman. Lie-detector given - I wonder if it was given to this guy? I would think she would be able to look at the suspect photos and at least have an idea if it looked like him, no?

To me this also means that their is enough likeness to not be able to rule him out. I wonder if it was similar hair, body structure, walk, clothes, etc. Interesting.

I think this was a MAJOR flaw in not releasing that pic, camping out at the HOTG complex that day it was found, which I have read was by the am of 1/25, not 48 hours

That makes sense, but this guy made no attempt to conceal, I tend to think he was directed to park the car there for a reason, which could lead to the perp, but I do not think that complex was scoured

This is what I believe as well.

To add, I believe if LE had any credible data that Jenn's car was actually in her spot from 10:30PM the eve of 1/23 through the morning of 1/24 until it was checkd at 11am by the managers upon Mrs.Kesse's request, they would jump at the opportunity to narrow down the timeline to help locate witnesses in a heartbeat. If they cant be sure, we cant be sure as to where the car was moved from and when, which means back to square one

There was a lawyer who had connections in the area who they did a public service announcement in both English and Spanish and said that if you know something, see a lawyer, clergy member, any member of the media, CrimeLine, Family Tip Line, OPD, etc. Fliers have been done in both English and Spanish as well as the website.

Another Holiday Season is now over and we, The Kesse Family, hope that your Holidays were peaceful, restful and memories were made for years to come. It is unfortunate that we now must look toward January 24, 2009, the date which will mark 3 years since Jennifer Kesse was Abducted from in or around her condominium at The Mosaic at Millenia Condominiums on Conroy Rd. in Orlando, Fl. and is still Missing and considered Endangered. Once again, we, her family and friends, would like to give back to the community which has given Jennifer so much support and has not let the awareness of her abduction fade. This year more than ever with serious crimes on the rise and more and more of our population being affected by them, we will again be holding a Safety-Community Event.

- FREE FINGERPRINTING/ID to any age person
- Orange County Sheriff’s Office/Children’s Safety Village – High tech fingerprinting/video ID for Children ($10 donation to OCSO).
- Florida’s Blood Centers – Bloodmobile Donations – **Back Bus/RV Parking Lot (D2) of Mall near food court
- Children’s Self Defense Demonstrations by RAD KIDS, a certified national program
- Personal Safety Information
- Missing Persons Flyers - there are more than 400 people Missing in Central Florida alone and they ALL need help!
- DNA COLLECTION – Ground breaking again, in co-operation with Florida Department of Law Enforcement, from family members of any Person Missing in Florida over 90 days, to be collected, processed free and entered into proper databases for possible Unidentified Human Remains matches and case closure.
The Mall at Millenia has shown great support for Jennifer over the past 3 years in helping us have a place to organize volunteers and searches to the annual community and safety events we conduct to help build a better, stronger and safer community in Orlando and its’ surrounding communities, for which we are extremely grateful for.

Just to add my voice to the chorus here - I have always operated on the theory (and it is only a theory - I am not saying I am right) that Jennifer was targeted by one of the construction crew members (or maybe more than one); she had already expressed discomfort with having them around, because of their transient lifestyle and the possibility of being an illegal immigrant they can virtually disappear. Many of the construction companies who hire these guys do not keep adequate records of who worked for them because thye operate under-the-table, pay cash and when the job is over, it's over. This guy was most-likely living on the premises where he had ample opportunity to watch Kesse - become familar with her routine; when she left for work, when she got home, approx what time she normally went to bed, the fact that she lived alone. I think he may have said things to her before and she blew him off, ignored him, told him to shut-up, whatever i.e. he did not recieve the response he wanted from her and it pissed him off, hurt his ego, made him feel like she thought she was better than him. I think he waited until the day before or even the morning of the job being completed or at least his time there was coming to an end and like someone said above he had the now or never mentality. I think he was either waiting in the backseat of her car or nearby hiding and when she got to the car he subdued her, forced her in and took off. He took her elsewhere to commit the crime(s) he did against her, got rid of the evidence. I think it is possible he wore a pair of painter(clean) coveralls, or even plastic over his clothing when driving back. If he was a construction site worker and he wore his normal clothes he would have left behind all kinds of evidence - paint chips, sawdust, metal shaving, etc. If he was in the car he either took great precaution in covering himself or was never in the car or DID leave trace evidence - fibers, paint shavings behind and it was missed by LE.
I think he probably had some ties to the area where he left her car - perhaps he knew some people who lived around there, I have heard it mentioned it was a higher-crime area so maybe he was a drug user and had been there to purchase drugs. Once he dropped off the car, he was gone either that night or the next day leaving virtually no papertrail behind. He was never on the payroll, there is no record of him because he is not a citizen of the US and he either went on to the next job or returned to his country of origin. Is there an international CODIS and fingerprint database?

Like someone said above - "Some people just get lucky." Obviously the perp was not a flawless killer, he left traces of himself behind but for whatever reason they are not detectable, LE doesn't know where to look, there were mistakes made on the part of police, whatever but bottom line in the age of Forensics basically any criminal who gets away with murder has luck on their side.

Another thought is human trafficking... it is possible that someone targeted her for that..
