GUILTY FL - Lonzie Barton, 2, Jacksonville, 24 July 2015 - #3

Still waiting to hear when and where was the last time Lonzie was seen by someone, neighbors, relatives, or on a camera that day or night. Why has LE cut back the time to 7pm, and is that only to prove or disprove what Ebron is coming up with now?

I also would like to know when Lonzie was last seen by someone besides the mother.

Pertaining to the cut back of time to 7p.m., in the store where I worked (which was a big chain store, not just a mom and pop), our camera system still runs on VCR tapes labeled with each day of the week. Monday for Mondays taping (etc. etc.) with a few tapes for backup in case of malfunction.

ETA- Forgot to mention that the camera system I mentioned did not update for DST. (This was part of the point of my posT, Ugh! Need more coffee!)

I'm confused about the time change. If they're thinking tapes may be mis-timed due to DST, wouldn't they just check footage back an extra hour? Why announce it unless they're looking for people who may have seen something "off" before 8? Which is before mom went to work.... Are they thinking she may know more than she's said? And do we know who the 3rd adult in the car was when she got to work???

I'm sure she's told them every possible thing that can help find little Lonzie. I doubt, however, that information will be shared with the public other than as calculated and strategic moves by LE. They can't hide where they are searching, so they proactively announce it. Everything else is probably "leaked" only to accomplish a specific goal.

I love when perps do media interviews. I can't wait to pull out and pick apart that one sentence that will enigmatically tell it all via the rush of vomit that came out of his mouth.

I think they've tasked the public to look at their own tapes from 7pm on and to notify them if they see anything suspicious on them and especially the car. I don't think they've requested all tapes in that area be brought to them for them to look at?

When Carlie Brucia went missing NASA had video of her and the perp that abducted and killed her leading her away from the carwash here in Sarasota. I wonder if its worth the call?

I totally agree on both counts. And you know LE is eagerly awaiting that interview for the very same reason. I'm going to have a good laugh if he busts himself over his inability to keep his trap shut and whine about being a victim.

I would like to know who else saw Lonzie other than mom & b/f? Did anyone see him at the laundromat or in the car as mom was being dropped off at work? And was anyone at the place they were renting from? What about at the place he went and did the coke at? Surely someone saw or heard something?

Ebron was on curfew, why was he out after 7pm? Wasn't he breaking some type of probation? Wonder why he wasn't in prison for doing drugs and the other possible charges against him by his ex., ? He raped her and broke her ribs. Didn't he threaten her 12 yr. old Niece's life too as per MSN article?
Did Lonzie's mom know all this? I honestly wish single mothers would check out and wait awhile before letting a stranger into their babies lives. How many times do we hear about this type of situation, too many IMO.

McLaughlin (pictured below) said Ebron maintains this was a case of a stolen car with Lonzie inside. Ebron is apparently claiming a lot of the questions police are asking don’t focus on his story, rather trying to pin a murder charge on him.


"He’s not feeling well because he’s saying he wants Lonzie found and he would like to talk to his girlfriend, he’s not allowed to talk with her and he says questions that are being asked to him are not pertaining to Lonzie being found and that’s what bothers him. He wants the baby to be found," McLaughlin said.

When the chief was appealing for anyone who knows the POI to (basically go to the jail) and talk to him....appeal to his "heart" (not that he has one), it seems like gf would be the obvious choice.....and now, if he's crying 'poor me'....it seems maybe there would be something to gain by putting them in a "private" room together and observe body language, what is said, not said.....

Other than that, I wish Ebron would have had to go on every search with LE and experience the scorching heat, searing sun, lots of bug bites, exhausting hours - instead of sitting on his a** in the cool airconditioning. =(

Who knows for sure. JSO would probably love to have her try to get info out of him, and I'm not saying they have or have not done so yet. Maybe with what she may have been told by JSO and her daughter she is not able to face him and keep it together enough to get any good info at all.
