Hi guys. I used to hang out here during the Casey Anthony days and have lurked on and off but haven't posted since the poor girl in Colorado a couple years back. I forgot my exact user name and password but it was close to my current one.
Anyway. I wanted to join the conversation. I lived in Jax for many years so this case hits a spot for me.
In my opinion I dont think that RE premeditated this at all. I think that his plan has been reactive not Proactive.
I think whatever happened to Lonzie occurred after his mom went to work and most likely sometime between midnight and 2 am. My gut says that the car jacking was his last minute "brilliant plan" because he truly thought it was believable.
I honestly believe that Lonzie was left somewhere not too far from where the car was left. I bet he thought Lonzie would be found but the "so-called thieves " would be the prime suspect.
And if the off chance the car was stolen then it would've had the bonus of contaminating evidence.
I do believe that RE acted out of haste and that he was fearful of the consequences, especially from LL.
All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

There is no evidence that he was in a hurry to get things done before she got off work. Where did you get that from? Good point about why would he send Lonna to work & haul the 5 yr old around as he got rid of Lonzie. Unless Lonzie was disposed of before Lonna went to work. I've have always questioned how no one saw Lonzie between 1 or 2 and the time Lonna went to work. Maybe she stayed in the apt. with the 5 yr old while WRE disposed of Lonzie. The running back to the apt. wasn't because he was in a hurry, but to set an alibi for the roommate. This is all speculation & you could be right or I could be right or neither of us could be right.

I got his being in a hurry from his very lame disposal of his car less than a mile from his home then running back home without his shirt (to keep from sweating on it, perhaps), and then calling 911 right away. I think he was doing all that running around to get rid of evidence and ran out of time, otherwise he would have come up with a much better way of getting rid of that car to back up his story. JMO

It's very unlikely that both of them would be able to keep up the ruse this long, IMO. Possible, but not probable. She doesn't strike me as a sociopath, just a young woman in a heap of doo doo because she made bad choices. LE has stated more than once that she's cooperative and responsive to them. WRE does strike me as sociopathic. He's arrogant, uncooperative, and a liar, has a violent history, charming (ugh! to some people, at least) etc.

And you are right, it is all speculation. You could be right about her. I hope not. It's just too awful to think about.

I don't understand why some sleuthers here continue speculating about LL being involved when there is no LE statement that she is a POI or Suspect, and it is against WebSleuth Terms of Service to do so because she is still considered a victim.

I'm only working with what few facts we have from LE and their public statement that WRE is the Prime Suspect, the ONLY Suspect in this case so far. Since LL is still considered a Victim she should be treated as such per WS TOS unless or until LE says otherwise. Plus, it's just good sleuthing practice to stick to the facts as they become available and put the puzzle together from there. Speculation leads to the kind of drama we are seeing on FB and it leads to innocent people getting hurt. I don't want to do that.

I will be real happy to add her to the mix and speculate ad infinitum, if and when LE says she's a part of the crime.
Until then, I'm working with what few facts we have with the goal of hopefully, maybe, possibly, finding Lonzie.

Time for bed. My son is getting married tomorrow. Hooray and have a good night!

I hope to come back here Saturday and see this case resolved. Baby Lonzie needs to come home, and get the justice he deserves.

Given the facts we have so far, I agree with your opinion.

Why was the orange car parked in front of Fleming's house earlier in the day? What was he doing there?

Much of what you've posted has always been my gut feeling as well. I believe that's why he left his car running when he ran back to the apartment to report it stolen. In order to start the car, the hood had to be raised and a toggle switch turned on. Most would have had trouble figuring this out and WRE wanted the car taken pronto imo.
Also I have been reading elsewhere that many in social media have been speculating that Lonzie may be in Baker County.

Snipped by me. I hope this wasn't towards me.. I personally don't think Lonna is involved. If she was I think it was indirectly.. Like she didn't know Lonzie was already gone. Yes she is a victim so far until police say she is a POI.. But with so little facts we gotta think of all possible scenarios. In the end, no matter who is involved, I just hope baby Lonzie gets to go home and rest in peace. [emoji120]🏻[emoji174]

The thought behind the Baker county rumor is derived from yet another rumor - some random guy claiming to be Lonzie's real birth father. I don't know why that would be kept a secret if it was true. We'll just have to wait for LE or MSM to bring it up. In the meantime, I would take it with a grain of salt, and keep your eyes peeled for a go-fund-me scam. Predators everywhere. Ugh

Not toward anyone in particular, lots of people have voiced variations of LL involvement. I was just voicing my concerns and why I don't go there. At this point in time. :)

I agree 100%. Congrats to your son. Very exciting!

Thanks! I have a whole day of running around, company arriving, cleaning house, cooking, making a couple small adjustments on flower girl dresses and somewhere in the mix I have to get a shower and make myself presentable. I might actually get to the church on time. LOL

I agree about the predator part. And other than a paymybillsforme account (I don't think this person has made one) Would there be any advantage to claiming to be someones dad if your not? (honest question, not being snarky)

Legit question.

Costs money to search for your pseudo kid. Can't work, bills pile up. Other kids in the house need to eat. Private investigators are expensive nowadays. Have you ever hired a search party? A paupers grave is no way to bury a baby, right? etc. Need I go on with the possibilities? People do this all the time. I bet more than 3/4 of those ads on beggar sites are bogus. Some fool claiming to be a media reporter just did this in the Ember Graham case. First he made some "search" video, then started asking for search money. Total jerk!

But, but... why would EB have left his car (engine running) earlier in the day (4-5:00) in the same spot? .

Someone suggested a week or so ago that possibly Ebron was in the habit of leaving his car near the apartment to avoid being served legal documents, or perhaps cops, since he was involved in drugs use/abuse/possible selling. Or that if he was selling, someone near that area was buying (or he was buying from someone near that area). The car was running when it was found the next morning by the police, but there's no evidence it was running the afternoon before when the guy saw it. He said it was a very quiet engine. It could have been running then, but no one knows for sure.

I guess the claim peaked my interest for two reasons. A lot of the time you hear about men that do the opposite, denying they are the father, instead of claiming to be. And secondly, IF ( a big one because it is not a fact that we know of) Such a claim if proven, could cause him financial harm, i.e back child support etc.

Think about it this way.... When did Lonna get married to her current husband, the one Ebron pointed a finger at?

The rumor guy is full of manure and already created a scenario in which he thinks he could be excluded from child support. Add that to the list anyway, of reasons to try to scam money. There will be a few starry-eyed dimwits that fall for his BS, but I really think it's a hoax and should be completely ignored.

The scenario that makes the most sense to me. Why was WRE's car left running earlier in the day 4 blocks from the apt.? Lonzie was deceased in the car & WRE wanted it stolen. Otherwise, why would he leave it running? He probably had an alibi ( he was with Lonna) while the car was waiting to be stolen. Plan A didn't work so on to plan B. To establish an alibi he had to be seen when the car was stolen. Plan B, go up to apt., leave sister with roommate, move the car & run back to apt. so roommate could say he was only gone a few minutes.

I am impressed by Sheriff Mike Williams. He is an upfront and tells it like it is. No bs. It would be soooo nice it this type of cooperation was given by other LE. JMO
