In cases like these, do the parents usually turn their backs to the camera when interviewed? Seems odd...

At first I thought it was a good idea to keep Lonna off the newS, mainly because the audience will focus attention on tearing her down, distracting from Lonzie. This phenomenom occurs out of fear. We all want to feel safe in the belief that such horrors are completely preventable, "That could never happen to my child, because I am a good mother". That belief is easier to rationalize if we can convince ourselves that she is a "bad mother" and therefore at fault. Tearing her down is easier if we can have a look at her, folks will be talking about her hair color, jewelry, manicure and analyzing every facial expression.....none of that will help find Lonzie.

BUT at this point it is getting a little wierd. It is time for her to show her face and make a connection with the audience, plea for other witnesses to come forward.

AND it is important to hear from witnesses who saw Lonna that day. Witnesss may have looked right past WRE but noticed an attractive young woman. They may recognize her once they see her face and hear her voice on TV. If we are to assume she has told the truth, then eyewitness accounts of her activities will only bolster the case against WRE. If there is any possibility she was not truthful, then this information is even more important.

I am not sure what makes her think that, but maybe she knows something LE doesn't?
I think i read earlier that she doesn't believe Ebron murdered Lonzie, so who knows what's really going on with it all? That's why i said earlier in my post that what does LL think happened to Lonzie then?

From the article: Lonna and Chris Barton, the toddler's father, sat down with Heather Crawford in an exclusive interview, saying they both believe their missing son is still alive -- more than a week after the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced it was investigating the child's case as a murder.

I wonder if that is the search RB has organized? He sounds really determined to find Lonzie.

Most if not all of the interview is up now:

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/story...rents-interview-believe-child-alive/31758843/

I still don't get it. Lonna is adamant that Lonzie was abducted and says she hopes he's somewhere being taken care of yet she didn't speak out to whoever that person might be to directly ask him or her to bring Lonzie back.

She told the reporter they decided to do the interview because it was time to thank everyone for what they're doing to find Lonzie.

Ah well, I don't think anyone expected to learn anything from the interview anyway although she did confirm that the last time she saw Lonzie was when Ebron dropped her off at work.

http://jacksonville.com/news/crime/...llegations-william-ruben-ebron-jr-raped-woman

"
On July 1, 23 days before Ebron reported that 21-month-old Lonzie disappeared at the Ravenwood Apartments on South Old Kings Road, his ex-girlfriend called police.
She said she’d gone over to Ebron’s home after she left work, and while she was there, he raped her, she said in the police report. She said she had yelled and cried, but he told her to stop.
She said five children were in the home at the time, including her children and his current girlfriend’s children. Although no names were listed, Ebron was dating Lonzie Barton’s mother at this time, according to police and Times-Union research in the case."

That is the kind of mother poor Lonzie had...she stuck up for that Ebron with this right there in front of her nose and still sticks up for him.
Unless Lonna is working with the LE, her support of RE (IMO) shows that she is involved in the disappearance of Lonzie. That video is a slam dunk, period.

I thought that LL was going to be picked up after work by EB and the kids at 2 am or so but in the transcript of interview she says she was dropped off at home after work and saw police cars? EB lied about that too or what?

per MSN it was Lonna that made the statement,

"They were in the car, dropping me off for work and I gave him and L(modsnip) a kiss on their forehead and told them mommy loved them and I would see them when they came to pick me up," Lonna Lauramore says.

If RE wasn't caught on the surveillance video, and LL and RE keep quite, they could
possible get away with it, but it didn't go as planned, and RE on the video foiled
any plans. If LL gives up RE, he'll do the same, and give her up. (IMO) This is
the only reasoning I can come up with.

The car 5 blocks away, and RE running back and calling 911, seemed so stupid and rushed... made me feel that LL wasn't involved.... but with her support of RE amongst all the blatant evidence..... leaves no doubt in my opinion, they're both complicit.

Wonder why she got a ride home then if RE was picking her up? What was RE's excuse for not being able to pick her up if he even had one for her that is?

I have just had a feeling they are covering for each other and i was thinking it might be because they are both at fault for whatever happened to Lonzie. Just my opinion and i could be wrong.

Per Lonna, she stated she would see the children (Lonzie) again "when they came to pick me up" ... what time was that supposed to be?

Guess roommate would not be at the house so the kids could remain sleeping while RE picks her up from work?

Where was she when she learned the news?

tia

We have been told she got a ride home from work, "... when she saw the police cars"
When is the last communication between LL & RE? that is what I want to know.

There should be video evidence supporting LL either bending into the car to kiss the children or some movement to corroborate. Remember there's video of LL driving WRE's car to Wacko's and getting out, then WRE gets in drivers position to drive home. The manager said that he saw another person in the car but could not tell if it was child or adult. Lonzie may have been sitting lower in the car which would make it harder to view him. Just playing devil's advocate here. Will look for link.

that could explain the recent contact with Chris Barton

I thought the Wacko's manager saw her drive in to work and Ruben moved over to the driver's side. He said he saw another person in the car. He did not say anything about children in the car or her kissing them before leaving the car. How did she kiss them? I know it sounds ridiculous but did she kiss them while inside of the car? This car only has two doors from what I can tell. Bending in to kiss BOTH of them would require her to get right back in there. Were the kids in car seats? JMO

Just saw your post and posted the same thing!

LL is saying as little as possible. If she lawyered up, she would be told to say nothing. I think she wouldn't answer any question that could be checked out & therefore wanted the interview to focus on finding Lonzie & thanking those that searched for him,

That's true, although at the moment she has no reason to lawyer up as she hasn't been charged with anything to do with Lonzie.

People use lawyers all the time even if they are not named as subjects. Look @ the Mike Brown case. Seemed like even the witnesses had lawyers.
