Volunteer searchers looking in woods off Steel Bridge Road north of Macclenny found what appeared to be a small grave about 150 feet behind a home and alerted the Baker County Sheriff's Office. Deputies spent about 90 minutes searching and digging and brought in a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office cadaver dog, but nothing of interest was found.

im not certain how florida does it but in CA they are only interested in recouping cash aid. they rarely if ever go after fs and medi-cal... only if there is an actual court order that orders a non custodial father to maintain insurance, but that doesnt cover the children of unmarried parents.

seems to me that she is married to CB so most likely he siogned the bc and if they get fs and medicaid its probably a family case.

Wouldnt assume this would be very hard to find out if it was a rumor or not. In order to have medical-food stamps or any county assistance one HAS to have a child support case/order. I am not finding nothing tho. I would "assume" she gets at the very least medical through the state for the children. I do see the "new supposed" father was in jail for child support order on other children in June then in August actually got custody of the children from the courts.

Edited to add - "IF" CB was raising him, L has CB last name. One could assume it is legally his now anyways, no?

way back in my teen mom days i was required to open a support case, but that is when i got cash, fs and medicaid.

my kids are now on only medicaid and they didnt even so much as ask who their father was. i do work, and only get medical benefits.

My guess would also be he signed the BC. I do know here you are NOT allowed to get Medical help without a child support order started/in place. Well speaking in Duval and Baker County.. I am not sure of ALL of Florida.

Honestly not sure how it all works. I can only say from personal experience here in Jacksonville. I moved here last year, had an active case in Minnesota. They would NOT give my kids medical until the case was moved here (in which I actually found it was a court ordered by Florida to Minnesota to move it here. Found that in my own court records while searching records for this case. I did NOT know this information.) Once it was court ordered and Minnesota moved it here, they put my kids on it (took couple months).

Is anyone else - besides me - completely baffled & confused by this case? The FLB facebook page - so much "stuff" there & I know all the comments are just that - someone's comments, but I am just so confused. Everyone it seems, IMO, in this mix is just so 'weird or strange' with either what they say or how they act. (That wasn't very nice of me, but things just aren't adding up or clicking or making sense or...).

I do hope and think that someone will throw someone under the bus...eventually.

I agree GI and can't believe that there are no slander or liable cases from social media. And for a person who's claiming to be the FOB, it's easy enough to find out. I see all kinds of situations so nothing surprises me anymore. Just hoping Lonzie is found. Sad about all of the craziness he was exposed to.

She went to the Ravenwood apartment (his friend's place) and he raped her? He is sick. He is violent with everyone IMO. Has he assaulted the 5 year old and Lonna too?

The ex-girlfriend said in the police report that Ebron had also sexually battered her last November. After the July 1 incident, she said she gathered her children and went to a family member’s home.

( after being sexually battered by him last November, why on earth did she then go to his place in July?)

Ebron hasn’t been charged with the rape allegations. Jacksonville police did charge him with two counts of child neglect in Lonzie’s disappearance. Friday the State Attorney’s Office charged him with giving false information to police, according to his docket sheet.

Baker County also has a warrant for his arrest for violating the terms of his bond release on a drug charge.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office didn’t answer questions about the rape allegations, but it is still investigating them, spokeswoman Melissa Bujeda said.

The report didn’t say whether police had contacted the Florida Department of Children and Families.
The ex-girlfriend and one of her family members have received domestic-violence restraining orders against Ebron to keep him away. In a July request for a restraining order, the ex-girlfriend’s family member mentioned the rape allegations.

Ebron’s assistant public defenders in the child-neglect case declined to comment through a spokesman.
