I think some posters can drop their theory that Lonna was pumping WRE for info for LE.

Didn't get the wake up call but I'm happy that Lonna is in jail. I wonder why it took 3 weeks for Lonzie's health info to come out in his case??? Obviously it is relevant. At first I thought it sounded like an ear infection and burst ear drum. The ear drainage is yellow and smells horrible! Not sure about the vomiting though. That sounds like a concussion. Lonna's job at Wacko's was voluntary. Did she really kiss Lonzie on the forehead? Was he passed out or dead already? Lonzie would not be able to walk with his injuries that day. So where was he????? This whole thing is sick. I also have a problem with LE only looking into Lonna's and Ruben's jailhouse phonecalls now. WTH???? JMO

If the fld coming from Lonzie's ears was cerebrospinal fld, that could be indicative of head trauma. Also the fact that he was lethargic is a very bad sign!

Remember the taped jail visits in the Anthony murder case?

LL uncharged on the streets and able to visit with RE while he was in jail may have been much more useful to LE than LL locked up as well as RE.

She may not have been intending to help LE, she may have been continuing to engage in the "pattern of deception" that Hackney describes. But her not being charged til now may still have been very useful to the case being built. JMO.

And vomiting... It just gets worse. Dear God in Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those can be signs of a depressed skull fracture.

They may have had to wait to test for anything found in the car or in the apartment to come back & finally arrest her. They do test on spinal fluid for cancer, infectious diseases like meningitus, etc... I wonder if they found anything & can determine it came from spinal fluids? Hackney is very sure Lonzie passed away & this is a murder investigation.

Yes it does. A car accident that caused an eye injury would cause more than an eye injury, I would think.

It bothers me he wouldn't show his face either in the interview alongside Lonna. It bothers me a lot. And he's not exactly been begging the public for information as to Lonzie's whereabouts.

What was it Chief Hackney said? "Things aren't what they appear to be?"

She's not looking all that remorseful or distraught, is she?

Police also said on July 23, the day before Lonzie disappeared, Barton found a bruise on the back of the child's head that he received while Ebron was watching him. She also found yellow fluid coming from Lonzie's ears, and the toddler kept vomiting.

It sounds as though there was plenty of time to get him medical care . If he lingered for hours like that , doctors would surely have had a good chance of saving him. Imagine the suffering?

ETA No offense guys, but I hate WS sometimes. We wait and wait with bated breath for news about these angels and we know all the while that the news, when we do hear it, will be shattering.

I'm guessing that Lonna was well aware of the injuries, but that the informant is the one who told LE. Lonna didn't mention them to LE. That's how I'm understanding it. JMO.

From what i have read LL was with Lonzie before she went to work that night. Were his injuries apparent the day before, and if not they were apparent to her that day? She knew her baby was not well. She left Lonzie in the care of RE. As her being the adult responsible for her child's welfare ultimately, if she failed to get him medical attention, she is responsible for his death i would imagine? And RE helped her dispose of the evidence? JMO.

When the police say 'the day before he went missing' they mean the Thursday. A lot of people assume they mean Wednesday because the 911 call came in around 2:00 Friday morning but she was made aware of Lonzie's injuries on the Thursday, a few hours before she went to work.

I agree. Hackney said that their phone convos were recorded. I guess they just had enough? Something happened to make them arrest her last night. Hmmm.

Someone told Lonna about the injuries a few hours before she went to work. She was made aware of the injuries, confronted Ruben about them and they got in an argument about it. She later went to work. If you haven't, I recommend strongly that everyone watch the briefing. It is only 15 minutes and very eye-opening. Well worth the time.
