She has that arrogant smug can't be bothered look. I wonder if she ever cared about Lonzie. I was struck with the thought that when RE's ex said that Lonzie cuddled up to her if he was just looking for any affection at all especially from a mother figure.
Then I look the pictures of when Lonzie was younger and he looked healthy and happy then. What happened or was it just the drugs?

"The state filed formal charges and we have entered a plea of not guilty," said Jay Forrest alongside Kevin Carlisle, Barton's attorneys.
Forrest said Barton is "hanging in there" but is very distraught.

"This is a very difficult time for Mrs. Barton. It's every mother's worst nightmare," Forrest said.
Her session in court lasted just a few minutes and her next court appearance is set for Oct. 6. However, she has waived her actual appearance and her attorney's will speak on her behalf.

Several protesters were outside of the courthouse prior to her and her lawyers entering, with Barton having a noticeably-darker hair style.

I'm not buying the "distraught mother" routine. She can dress up for court all she wants, but the spaced out face doesn't lie.
Next she'll be getting the word SANDWICH inked next to the RUBEN on her ribs.

I'm pretty sure that ray_of_hope meant his jail cell. JSO said the picture of Lonzie in the boots was taken from the WRE's cell phone. I don't think there has been confirmation about the other picture with the bottle.

And on a lighter, but still important, note: Why did the protesters use comic sans for the signs? I cant take a protest seriously if the signs aren't in helvetica, or even times new roman. Anything but comic sans, really.
