Your Mothers a great lady.
Thanks Paulas88. I just think that's a parent's instinctive nature; to provide for the comfort and care of offspring. Certainly everyone on ws's has that philosophy. It think it's just why we are so appalled by parents who don't feel the same. I realize how lucky I am now. However, I was fortunate enough to take such things for granted as a youngster. I won't derail again. I just wanted to share. I'm just learning how special she is. sad...

TY to the other contributors as well. Hmm...will ever find HC now? Wonder if this opens up any new lines of thinking of how these ppl dispose of children. JMO. :rose:

IMO, they let that happen. That's a small area and the two are well known to LE. To not have known something like that would happen is just plain ignorant and stupid.

Yeah you would think Baker county would know better to put those two in same area ...almost seems like Baker county is trying to blow the case up.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — For the first time, one of the last people to see Lonzie Barton alive is sharing what she saw in the hours before the toddler vanished.

Action News Jax's Catherine Varnum interviewed Brittany Kelly at the Duval County Jail. Kelly was very candid and described Lonzie as looking pitiful in the hours before he disappeared.

Kelly said she drove Lonzie and his mother, Lonna Lauramore Barton, to a store to get something that day and only spent about 30 minutes with them.
She said she told Lonzie's mom something wasn't right with the boy, but said Lauramore Barton seemed to brush it off.

Kelly also said she gave Lonzie some ear medicine and then left the two to continue on with her day.

Since all this happened last July, Kelly had moved to Las Vegas and said she was brought in by the State Attorney's Office to testify in Ruben Ebron's trial, which was supposed to start this week.

But Kelly was arrested on unrelated charges over the weekend.

So this BK gave Lonzie medicine that day?

Photo of her at the link above.

If BK drove Lonzie and Lonna to a store that day, there would be a record of that on video or at least a receipt showing medicine was purchased at that time. JMO

what on earth would those two have to fight about? Who "loved" Lonna more? Who "misses" Lonzie more? Who did more for either? GMAB. :censored: In a church service no less.
I cannot imagine what could happen at this baby's funeral service with this bunch of "kinfolk" he had!
As sexton of our cemetery, have seen police presence en masse more than once, especially with small children of dysfunctional families.
It makes my blood boil that that will probably be the case and how much, again, it will cost the public to keep the peace after funding all the searching already.
I pray I am wrong and this sweet doll can be peacefully laid to rest with dignity, finally.

Another tattooed lady. Notice that she's wearing colored contacts? Her brown eyes can be seen underneath.

Does anyone remember, I'm sure LB said on one of the video interviews with LE, that she drove with a friend to a couple stores that day, one a discount store? I'm sure she said Brittany was the friend and I'm sure she said they bought ear medicine, and a couple other things. So afaik, that about sounds right. I'm not sure if LB said who bought it though.

So can she say if Lonzie was conscious, making sounds, crying, talking, eating, drinking????

Another real winner there...NOT.

From your link.

“He was tossed like a piece of trash,” Mack said. “It’s just hurtful. Whoever tossed him, don't send them to jail. Let me have them.”
-

The sentence, "It's just hurtful". It's clear tlcya, and the rest of us WSers are hurt. It's hard, and I'm not getting any type of closure. What can we do to get it in our heads that little Lonzie actually went through this, and was thrown out in that..that..pile? I'm thinking of having a small vigil with my sister to say good-bye. It's really hard to lose this little boy that most of us never met, but love dearly. We're all hurt and I thank each and everyone of you for going through this with me/us.

IIRC, Lonna went to the Dollar Store to buy foodstuff for dinner. I think the ear medicine was already at the house, along with several other items, one of which was labeled for the roommate's child. The photos are at that link that's been posted downstairs:

Argh - thanks to my slow typing I didn't see skibaboo's post. So maybe they got the ear medicine that day too. I dunno.
