So here's my current line of thinking regarding the past week.
Lonna decides to plea guilty, part of the agreement is that she must testify against WRE, so she has to agree.
Something she says implicates WRE in murdering Lonzie. The fight they had about the bruises behind Lonzie's ear probably come into play.
WRE's attorney is notified, so he goes to WRE and tells him what's going to happen.
WRE gets ticked off, decides to get back at LB and says, fine, put her 5 year old up on the stand, she'll testify to blah, blah, blah.
(Maybe he was going to try and pin it on her and claim he's been protecting her all this time. It wouldn't surprise me if he came up with such a lame story. It wouldn't surprise me if he threatened her or tried to convince her it was her fault. That would terrify a small child and definitely traumatize and confuse her. Just my own speculation).
This tactic doesn't work (thank goodness) and the judge says, "Uh, no."
LB testifies, ticks WRE off even more. And he's scared. She's testifying that he had drugs all over the place which is sure to tick off a jury, and his chances of getting an itty bitty sentence to prison have now gone out the window.
WRE, thinking he will get out of this, decides to throw LB under the bus. If he goes down, she goes down.
WRE meets with state attorney and puts the discovery of Lonzie into motion after negotiating what he thinks is a sweet plea deal.
Judge says, "Uh, no. Not yet."
WRE's goose is cooked. Maybe LB too. Maybe some other people. Who knows.
I really do think WRE is going to try and pin Lonzie's death on someone else. The easiest target (or accomplice) is LB.
He will not go down without trying to lie his way out of a murder charge. I don't trust a word he says, he is a pathological liar and manipulator, but if LE comes out and says there's evidence of an accomplice, then oh, boy things will get very, very interesting.
